Do you have your life together?

At age of 20, it's no shame to say that I don't have my life together yet. I'm currently a full-time college student who studies business management in a 4-year university while working part-time in my school's kitchen as well as a 2nd job at a restaurant serving tables. I don't have much skills to advertise except knowing how to speak Chinese, decent at math, and a few know-hows in Microsoft office and the some ability to attract women, other than that, I'm still working on everything I need to become "professional' and catch up with my peers.

What about you guys?

My life is very put together if you look at it one way. I'm 19 and pushing two years in the Air Force with a job that pays very well on the civilian side. I'm also magically half-way through an associates degree and I didn't even do anything. I could also finish up that associates degree for freesies without even using up my benefits.

Looking at it the other way, all the information I've spent my two years learning will not apply towards any other career field, and I have no idea what type of degree I want to pursue and I'm just sitting here in the military until I figure it out because this is a safe place to be.

@BoredAF: Not sure what the housing market is like where you live, but damn... if you can buy a house outright and rent it, go for it.

Lifting keeps me sane. Something I'll never give up.

15 years old, everything is fine in my life, already have my goal / objective settled, searching a part time job, doing pretty well at school, very good at math, knowledged in philosophy, skilled in 4 languages (English, French, Chinese and Spanish, currently learning Japanese and Korean), socialized in community.

eh been going through rough patches at one of my jobs but currently in the progress of straightening it out.

19 year old uni student, double majoring, 2 part time jobs, will be applying for a 3rd (for financial reasons). mmm doing ok in school, i have a 3.5 gpa. pleasant social life, involved in 4-5 diverse clubs and yeah. only thing is i'm living with my grandpa so i'm essentially a commuter student, but this past fall quarter i spent 4-5 days a week overnight on campus (couch surfing at friends' places). so that's another stressful thing cuz i have to figure out when people are home so i can get my stuff/change/shower, etc.

studying CS and econ
worked for google
serve at a restaurant and make nearly $30/h on average
been in a relationship for over a year
healthy social life
been working out 4 times a week for over a year now, should take about another year to hit my goal body

I'm going to make it. Quite the turn around from fat highschool pot head that worked at toys r us and drove a cavalier

@BoredAF: My boyfriend has the same mentality as you. He could buy a house and new car, but he gets along with his family very well and drives the mustang he bought in high school (which, still drives perfectly and looks awesome for 2000 model). In North America, it's like everyone is in such a rush to get their education, get a job and start their families. People need to relax.

20 year old Management, economics and law student desperately looking for an good company for an internship before February 2014. Got rejected by my dream company, now trying for an another company and still waiting for their message. Don't really have outstanding skills from my job experience. Getting a good internship is the only thing that's in my mind and worring me atm.

Life outside school? Pretty much sports the only thing I do. Hate drinking, clubbing, partying like my age relatives.

I'm 23 years old. I made a huge investment and gave up four years of my life to work. I am now going to school without worrying about paying the bills, tuition, or having to work part time jobs. I have no regrets, and I'm pretty happy right now.

You're 20 and you have work experience and you're in university. Your life isn't that bad compared to a lot of other people struggling to make it into college or even get a part-time job.

I didn't get my crap straightened out until I was 21.
21 years, I've already completed a Software Engineering Internship at a large company and returned to being a full-time student while doing a part time job. There's a good chance I'll return to the company I went to after I graduate this year. I'll be making real money faster than @aznseal
Yes, but I will be slowly biding my time and eventually, BOOM! salary explosion.

traveled to a lot of diff countries throughout my childhood, i have a full ride to uni, and get decent grades as a sophomore and have already declared one of my intended double majors, and live by myself off campus where i take care of myself pretty well but i went through/am going? through a very bad depressive period which a psychiatrist tried chalking up to ptsd and am very closed off bc of it so most of my friendships here feel shallow and i flit through people pretty quick, so i am very disconnected all the time so i think i am going through a late-appearing suicidal teen phase i.e. not put together internally while externally i think i am arranging everything pretty well

Sounds to me like you have your life together bro! Studying, holding down jobs and a second language. Not a bad place to be at for being 20. Me, slowly getting there. Gonna be a long, hard year before I really see results though.

It's on track. I'm 23, I have a BA, but I'm about to begin the process of going back to school for a more practical degree. Right now, that involves taking some remedial math courses at the community college. Once I'm up to par, I'll enroll in a CS program somewhere. I've also got plans to get an apartment with my SO; I've been sharing apartments with friends for like 3 years now.

Yes I do and I am mid 20's

I have my own place (small place), I have a job in my field of studies that pays good too, I am done with school, I have my own car, I can take care of myself, I go out every Friday and Saturday night, I work out and meet a lot of women, I have met few people who are in the arts so I do meet interesting people.

The only thing I am missing is a significant other but I don't want one, nor do I plan to have one, I just want to be crazy at the moment.
My life goal right now is to travel around but due to my position of my job I am kind of stuck going vacation all the time, I just came back from Montreal few months ago.

The one thing I want to do is go back to school maybe and upgrade my knowledge, there is so many benefits being a student but at the same time there is benefits having a full time job so maybe an online course or a night/evening course will do.

Nope, i'm a senior in high school thats struggling to get into university and going into a job that my father wants me to take because I actually have no interest for school subjects so I might as well take on that'll make him happy. If the job ends up making me miserable whoopsiedaisy xD.

I turn 19 in a couple weeks, go to one of the best public universities in the US, in a long term relationship, and have no idea with what I want to do in college.
Thinking about transferring to our rival school that's a lot worse but has WAYYY easier classes so I can get the GPA I need to be able to go on to do what I want after college.
As of now I'm a Chemistry and Theatre student but if I transfer I think I'm going to do BME in case I can't get into med school, I can still potentially be employable.

I have it somewhat together. I think I'm just more afraid than anything.

I'm finishing high school at 16 and then it's straight into college, I plan to go to a couple career choosing seminars (my parents want me to decide by February of next year). My grades have gone up and I'm just working hard. For the time being I'd say my life is 80% in order. Other 20% is the colour of my skin (black).

I've been at my first job for almost two years as an in-class high school math tutor. It's convinced me to pursue teaching instead of engineering, so now I have experience extremely relevant to my career plan. The program I work for also gives us extra responsibilities so we'll have more to talk about regarding our work experience

I kinda lucked out because when I was still in engineering, I didn't even hear back for any summer internships that I applied for. Career fairs were a monumental waste of time, as any company I gave my resume to never even told me I wasn't going to be offered an interview. So I lucked out in the aspect that I expanded my career plans around my first job. I'm trying to get my grades up though. This semester could've been super easy, but my field experience for an education class had me driving to other schools during a lot of the free time I could have had to study.

You always can keep applying for internships. It'll be tough if you aren't passionate about it though. Toward the last few weeks I was looking for internships (while still in engineering), I was just looking for things that would conflict with my current job as little as possible.
