Horntail vs Zakum
Hey guys, just here with a question about regular horntail. How does he compare to zakum? If me and my brother can kill zak together in under 20 mins, will horntail be beatable yet? thanks guys!

As long as you both utilize magic crash properly and stay alive, you'll be fine

i got my mask with 1 atk bonus pot anviled with branch nose for a value of 75m
um u definitely can kill zak under 20 minutes. probably within 3 minutes, if both u and your friend have close to 30k range. i myself have a 30k range and i solo zak in around 4-5 minutes (had a wep cancel). i'm guessing you 2 can probably HT. i believe you'll have to try HT out for some experience first though, and ask around. getting the cry is </3
You should be able to kill HT in about 30 minutes or less. I did a duo with my friend and I only had around 30k range. He had about 90k range though. We finished in about 10 minutes.

Not everyone has good equips. No one starts out pro.
@Williamham: Hmmmm. Maybe. In order to solo, its recommended to have a 60k range, so i feel like you guys will be able to.
Its probably less than 20 minutes. It has been a fair while since we have tried and i can't exactly remember. But yeah, i guess there is no harm in giving it a shot

u shuld be able to solo zak a bit faster
i dont think u can do HT
only way to find out is to try it. all you will lose is time and maybe some experience if you die... not that big of a price to pay to find out if you 2 can or cannot finish horntail.

Im 172 Drk and he is a 180 Paladin we both have just under 30k range
