Amethysian Equips

Hey guys! I just decided that i wanted to collect this set on one of my characters and he is about level 90. He is currently only missing the hat and the cape and i wanted to know what was the best way to get these pieces. I cant find any events to get leaves or coins any more, the board game is gone and if i were to buy the leaves in the fm, thats about 100m for the 2 pieces. So this is my question, how can i still obtain these 8th anniversary equips. (btw me and a friend were hunting at roids for about 15 minutes and not a single box dropped. am i doing something wrong?)
