basic human communication skills?
Is it just me or do a majority of players lack basic communication skills these days? I've had people - on numerous accounts - run into my map at the haunted mansion, and then randomly start killing stuff without saying anything. (lol this isn't a complaint about me getting ksed, i've always been the one getting a majority of the kills) They then proceed to say either "cc" or "stop ksing me" when all I've been doing is either: 1. I've been killing like I have been for the past hour or so, or 2. I've already asked them to leave because what they're doing is counter productive. There are other instances where people just desperately kill monsters around the map until they level, and then they leave.
Are people these days [i]this[/i] unsociable?

Unsociable, yes; why? It's because I'm afraid of contracting idiots around me asking for my e-mail, name, if I'm really a girl, and such.
About the random killing, I basically do what you do, lol; I kill as if no one was in my channel (even if they are).

A lot of teenage boys like to use Maple to blow off steam, whether it's because they're dealing with their blossoming, insecure egos or.... mm yeah that's all I can really think of.
Maybe they're there to grind, not socialize.

Perhaps I'm just nitpicking here, but I don't see that as being [i]exactly[/i] the same as unsociable.

I don't know if the entire point of my post flew over your heads, but I was talking about them not even responding with one line of text when [i]they're[/i] the one getting ksed inside my map, and continuing to attempt to kill stuff in the map. Was just wondering if people are completely oblivious to others or not lol
It's funny because Maplestory's a MMOPRG. If they don't want to socialize, they might as well go get Maplestory on their phones/iPods/iPads or play the Facebook game.
You really think kids are gonna be as sociable on maple as they would be irl? Seriously?
