Anviling controller
First is the anvil effect permanent? And what can I anvil my controller to? since its counted as shield can I anvil it to a shiled? Also can I anvil it to katara? Also can u anvil weapons to other wepons, for example the energy sword to regular 1h sword or axe? Thanks

It was patched one day before the post above according to time of events. I cannot say if this has been changed since then or has be reverted/modified.

This was before the day of the patch, as you can see, it worked perfectly well.

@wispa12: Yeah, but I really like the way the blade looks on this one. It probably would've been my second choice.

btw @GunsTheSparkle Id rather anvil a spear to the 110 dragon spear to keep it old school
Yes, anvil effects are permanent. My Alchupiz is really a Fuscina, and it will remain looking like an Alchupiz.
You can anvil things that are the same
Shield - shield - Yes
Katara - shield - No
I just started playing Xenon a couple days ago (level 6x atm) and it doesn't seem to me that the controller is even visible o.o why would you anvil that?
To answer your second question though, no, I don't think you can anvil two different kinds of equips together.
