I've heard of one neck being a bass guitar and the other a normal. That would be sweet. But yeah usually its a 6 string and a 12 string. You can find them in a ton of different combinations though, prob a banjo and bass combo out there somewhere.
Usually one is a 6 string and the other a 12 string. In this case they look the same, my guess is that it allows you to play two differently tuned guitars.
