I need a new anime
i thoroughly enjoyed Attack on Titan and Sword art online. Death note was good until L died.
i'm looking for similar animes, anyone know of any really good ones? i've tried code;geass and Fate/Zero, but i couldn't get into them.

yo if youre on the whole ~thinking~ phase (crazy deep storyline stuff that'll make you go wtf like death note's mindgames and aot's political aspects) check out steins;gate
just finished it and though it had a horrendously slow start, the latter half made it totally worth it. makes you really think and wonder how people even create such storylines
If you're into sports : Hajime no Ippo ( a bullied kid getting into boxing, I didn't start boxing cause of this, but it was good to watch and motivated me, even if it is only an anime) , Eyeshield 21 (Bullied kid has a special gift for running. become a runningback for a highschool team) & Haikyuu ( A kid who loves playing volleyball but never got into a team until middleschool, but was completely killed by the other team, comes back at highschool and plays more) are all good to me <3
As others suggested, I highly recommend this too : Hunter x Hunter ( a kid who ventures out to be a hunter and hopes to find his dad )
I thought Fate Zero was good...
moans: watch puella magi madoka magica. Magical cute girls with dark fantasy. It's so much better than SAO imo

Edit: I tried to watch the anime's that you mentioned as well and couldn't get into it either.
TTGL. if you cant get into that youre doing it wrong. Clearly you dont care about logic or plot so thats perfect and youre in luck TTGL has actual characters unlike SAO
gintama for comedy.
though, ignore the first 1-2 episodes (?) which are anime only fillers, also it gets real after episode 20
