what is nexon doing

why is it that the only update for maplestory is class revamps, its the only thing nexon has for patches. what ever happened to fun events like the agent event or vpq etc. these class revamps are incredibly boring cuz they all follow the same cycle
Nexon's theories are utterly disgusting--so much so, that if there are any children or sensitive people reading this letter, I suggest that they stop now and not read what I am about to describe. Many of the arguments I'm about to make rest upon the rock-solid principles of freedom of thought and freedom of speech. If it weren't for these freedoms, I wouldn't be allowed to tell you that Nexon's hypocrisy is transparent. Even the least discerning among us can see right through it. Some day, in the far, far future, Nexon will realize that its encomiums remain a small isolated minority except during times of economic or social stress, when a mass following develops to blame maleficent, shambolic criticizers for the problems besetting society. This realization will sink in slowly but surely and will be accompanied by a comprehension of how Nexon should undoubtedly heed Cicero's advice, "Appetitus rationi pareat." (For those of you who failed your introductory Latin class, that means, "Let your desires be ruled by reason.&quot Let me end this letter by telling Nexon that I fully intend to get my message about Nexon out to the world. This action is lawful. This action is moral. And this action is right.
Busting out the Latin. What is this f***ery... SMH.

OP: Let's cry together.

I'm pretty sure we're getting Hilla and Aswan in the near future. Should be coming two patches after Justice.
It's not amazing, but it is new content.

They focus more on profits instead of the actual game-play. They are paving the way to their own demise.

What Nexon is doing is extracting the remaining cash value from an aging intellectual property which is on its way to becoming a liability.
Adding the type of content you suggested costs them money because of the people they have to pay to actually develop content like that.
Simply rehashing the same thing over and over can be much more easily done simply by changing the artwork and calling the characters something else.
Meanwhile variations on the same old Cash Shop types of items are pushed into the game in an attempt to maximize short-term profitability as long as possible.
The lack of attention to anything in the game (as far as security, rules enforcement and customer service) other than revenue generating aspects appears to concur.
