I Blew Up My Dagger
It was a 1% Clean Slate on my 132 Base, Epic Pesca. Boomed. That's just stupid. So I'm quitting. Bye Dual Blade world. :]
[b]Edit:[/b] After a day's rest, I figure it was best to take a break instead of quitting. What ticked me off was that 2% chance of blowing up. 2%! I just thought it was ridiculous that it would blow up. And no I didn't want pity or whatever, I could care less. I just needed to let it out, to express. What sucks was that it wasn't hammered either too.
Well thanks to all the people who messaged me and commented to not quit. I'll be more active on the forum now because well, I get all butthurt when I log on MS. Ugh. So I'm saving up money to buy nx to sell to my friends in the later future since that's how I make meso in MS. Too lazy and not enough patience to merchant. I like to get all my meso in one go. And I like to spend it in one go too. I hope to get a better dagger before Chaos. And thanks for the people sharing your even worse experience with me. What made me ticked wasn't the dagger blowing up but that 2% working..
And the items that I dropped were actually handpicked by a friend of mine who was happy to give them back to me. Since he didn't want them in the first place. That's what friends are for. Thanks. And it was really touching that all you guys came supported me. I'm glad I got this in return for helping all of you guys. :] I'll do my best to continue helping and inspiring people.

Well, it may only be a 2% chance to break, but it is a 1% chance to pass.... so its still 2x more likely to break it.

it's okay...i blew up a 140 atk unh unleveled engaw right after potential came out -_- my perfect bow...GONE in the blink of an eye >.>
Look on the bright side, you are probably a lot better off than me in terms of booming items...30% = 5% or less for me

Yeah I was hurt by dark scrolls, enhancement, potential scrolls, 20% clean slate and now 1%. That's why I always buy my weapons and not scroll them myself. xD
i believe nexon tricked us with the description of those clean slate scrolls...if you think about the success: failure ratio, it is 1:2. IF you do manage to land it, that is very similar to landing a 30% scroll (1/3), but if you fail, it booms @ approximately 2% rate...

Lol. Thanks. And yeah, I always end up with a better dagger. I feel a lot better. I also have friends who have well scrolled dagger, well crappy to them but .. they're kind of almost perfectionist in a way.

1bil + loss isn't nothing to me.
@x3Ren: o base that way, my bad i thought u meant it not scrolled. if the base was only 132 its a loss but not that immense of a loss. 132-105- is only 27 atk. But knowing smart people the have adv diamond so its only 24 atk. Also u have lvl ups lets say 3 atk was given. 21 atk. 1 enhancement 18 atk. Not hard to re scroll.

did u scroll the pescas? cuz if u scrolled it, it makes sense, if not then its not mathematically possble
I'll take part in events but I just won't be on for a while. I'll make my rings tradeable though. I'll probably be back in a month or so.
@timmy06: base mean without scrolls, means clean and nothing but it fully lvled up. the best scenario is 167 atk no enhancement but fully scrolled

Why would I want to quit? I was still doing things. I just got my mount yesterday. There was still things to do and I still wanted to train. 160 was my goal. Who would blow up a 1bil + Dagger?
He never mentioned if the base atk included pot or not, guys calm down. It's x3Ren. Pretty much the god of giving for DB's. While there may be DB's more OP than him, they don't understand the fundamentales like he does. This guy has this class analized like an architect designs a house. Why are you trying to give him crap about a dagger? Something unfortunate happened to him. It's happened to everyone, stop trying to make a pro look bad because you're happy something bad happened to the more fortunate.
Edit: didn't read your recent edit, I'm glad to see you've decided to stay. I have to say, being a DB would have felt kind of empty see'ing you gone
@yahgohbee: it is immposible, base attack is 105, add 3 from diamond and 3 from black crystal u get 111. Add 5 from stimulator u get 116, and 6 attack from 3 perfect lvl ups u get 122. Not possible its a typo.

weird! 0_o i used like 20+ slate scrolls and one worked on my purple socks and another on my 9 att scg.. now its 11 att scg 0_o

People like this make me wish I didn't play in Bera. Before you quit Ren, I don't know you very well but I have to agree with him. You have tons of people looking out for you. You have tons of friends at this guild it looks like. I look up to you, I'm not gonna deny that whatsoever haha. When I think DB, whenever I have an issue of any kind I go to your guide. Honestly I think that guide should have been stickied first, and you could have had a comments page for it or something. But you have helped pretty much the whole maple world, depict the DB into how we can play it to our full potential.
I'm pretty sure not just Sushiology would miss you. It would hit pretty much all the DB's that have done any research before playing. I know several people in Bera that were talking about this post in my guild chat already this morning. Don't leave man, although nexon holds us all within its evil clutches of making us pay to be any decent damage dealer, we are DB's bro. We gotta have support from someone who knows what they're doing. I'm not bashing others, but you're that first person who came out and just bam. Said everything, helped us get through those first steps. I'm just trying to say you'd be missed by more than just your guild, more than your maple family.
