Are you kidding me? Neuer, Schweinsteiger, Gotze, Muller, Lewandowski, Robben, Alaba, Boateng, Dante, and Shaqiri all played. Plus, nobody says that we're the best in the world, not even MLS fan's say "we're the best in the world". But when we win a game far and square, you still don't give us credit. GG
Really? Because the starters were Pizzaro, Lewandowski, Bernat, Shaqiri, Hojbjerg, Gaudino, Rode, Alaba, Martinez, Rafina and Starke. That is like 2 or 3 of their 11 usual starters.

Welp... MLS won 2-1. Ready to eat your words?
Friendlies shouldn't really matter but this glorified friendly does matter a bit for the public perception of the MLS. I'm very happy for the MLS but I thought Bayern Munich was going start its usual starters or else I wouldn't predict BM 3-0. Had I known they were going to play their B team for 90% of the game, I'd predict a close game. Bayern Munich B team is no joke. BM might have the most depth in any club team. Their B team might as well be an A team anywhere else. To have a bunch of MLS players who don't practice together beat arguably the best B team is pretty impressive.

@Xander43: Okay, first half Bayern did make them look like little league kids. I got bored and went on Netflix the second half. Either way my comment was meant under the context that MLS would lose, I didn't mean it under the contexts they would lose ala L.A. vs Man U.

@OnlineMusic: For about 10 years now. And I'm not saying it was impossible, im just saying that you said that "they will make the MLS look like a little league time even without their starters" and you were wrong.

@Xander43: Dude just stop trying to make this seem like an impossible achievement. Yeah 10 minutes is more than enough time to do some damage but the difference was that Brazil was having a meltdown and played bad tactically. It's difficult to score when a team bunkers. Don't compare two different situations, were talking THIS game. I will give them credit, they beat a bench team and faced some starters the last 10 minutes. I'm curious how long have you been following the sport?

@OnlineMusic
And? 10 minutes is more than enough time for world class players to dominate "garbage.". Germany scored 3
goals in 10 minutes againts Brazil. Why couldn't Bayern do it here? And the only MLS fans that say that are the ones who watch "football" and only watch "soccer" when they're bored.

@Xander43: You would be surprised how many MLS fans I've come by who claim to be a top league so I'm basing my judgement off of that. All their stars played the last 10 minutes, stop exaggerating.

Imo Bayern Munich is the best team in the world right now. So, I don't see Bayern Munich losing at all.

The MLS is gradually improving each year. I say right now MLS is between the Championship and League 1. The MLS all-star squad's talent is comparable to an average to below-average Primer League team. The MLS is doing completely fine for a league that has only existed for 18.5 seasons.

Bayern Munich 3-0

Did you really need to make a thread about who is clearly going to win this?

MLS is trash. Bayern is going to make them look like a little league team out there even without their starters.
