you're using the wrong launcher or not using right click and run as admin
And I'm in the corner redownloading it for the fiftieth time after corruption issues.

You're doing it wrong then. The Game Launcher doesn't do that. It, as one can tell from the name, opens the game. If you just click the icon labeled Maple Story, that's not the Game Launcher.

You could have always used the Game launcher if the home Button was not working :O
