@Savagery: Ohh okay, earlier I saw 1k w/out potential so I was really confused for a sec.

@savagery At what att roughly would you need to have in total for a 2h sword multiplier to be the better option rather than 1h + shield?

@Savagery: Not to be all up in the details, but with the sword, tyrants, heart, and RA set, it adds up to 589 (maybe like 640 atk if you're RA's are well scrolled). where does the other 300 come from? O.O I'm just so surprised, 1k is such a big number.

I finished scrolling my [url=http://i41.tinypic.com/npor5w.png]shield[/url] for attack in 2012, so going back in ICoG-ing it would be a gamble on resources.

Frankly, cubing a Warrior Secondary is much more cost effective and eventually evens out in the long run.

@Savagery: what is your gear? 1k attack before pot is high o.o

I got a blue dragon shield epic pot (6% dex, 3% atk, crap line) epic bonus pot (4% crit, 2 crap lines). 18 atk, 2 slots left, 2 hammers left. I expect to get at least 3+ atk more so my shield would be at least 21 atk if not more. (been getting lucky with ICoGs 2 + 6 bonuses)

my shield has 9 atk all scrolled from farming gollux blue coins (90% armour for atk). I have yet to enhance the shield as well.

So with a little dedication, grinding, patience and luck you can make your very own atk shield.

Yeah I wish some better shields would be released. I'm actually at the point where Im using rosary and 1H sword...

Basically this.
Passing 9 Shield Att 10% would cost too many resources with little return.
And those 60%s are rather rare in themselves. Even so, 200m a scroll would only result in 13 more attack than a Secondary.

Also the 27 Att VIP Warrior Shields floating around are mostly duped survivors. Many still even have the 15% STR potential still on them

Been a shield-user since Lv 130 and it's never once wronged me.
Personally I like the look of Shield + 1H Sword and that's enough of a reason for me to preserve it.

I do think it would be cool if they made a Warrior Dragon Khanjar equivalent in the future some time.

I can GUARANTEE you that's not the case. 2H is only approximately 2-3% stronger DPM than 1H after factoring in Speed. Some asshole decided to spread some false BS about 2H being better after certain ATT or w/e and tons of people took his word for it since no one could make sense of what he had just spewed out and instantly though "must be legit!".

Bottom line, other than that 2-3% DPM difference there's nothing else to it. Shields can be scrolled for higher amounts of ATT which makes them the clear winner as Rosarios cannot be scrolled.

Because with the multiplier for 2h being higher than 1h+shield and the access to a secondary with a 2h equipped it's true.
