Oh look, I got hacked
I suppose it was bound to happen. How it happened? Beats me. Only thing I did that could have lead to this was purchase stuff from the MTS a while back (2 weeks ago?)
Lost all my Mesos on all of my characters, any valuable skill books, Spectrum goggles and a PaC (I knew I should have kept them on my which I only access from a seperate computer)
A little bummed that this had to happen, just when I was about to get into Merchanting, but at least it happened before I may or may not have made any big profits.

Upon logging into your hacked character, did you find yourself in Ardent mill or the FM and were you in a party or EXP? Did you also have any odd/random items in your inventory? Like a Legends memory journal, or some sort of other useless item that you have no previous recollection of owning?

@Lidd0xLucy: Aw man, I hope it's not because I charged Karma coins. I was planning on maybe buying 10 - 20K NX to possibly pick up Merching, but that's out of the question if charging will get me whacked by another gold farmer.
It's amazing that Nexon continues to focus on small time botters, rather than fixing problems caused by systems that are used heavily on a daily basis for in-game purposes (MTS leaks? Charging NX?) hell, it's come to the point where it's impossible to know if visiting the official website itself is safe anymore.

I have been hacked. Hacker deleted my character so i have no idea
@Lidd0xLucy: I did charge Karma Coins, but I charged about a week or two ago? I was fine during that time... the hacking took place anywhere between last night after 8:30 P.M EST and this morning around 11:00 A.M EST.
@0DeathTheKid: Ha-ha, thanks. A guild mate of mine has graciously offered to donate 1 Bil to me this Monday to get me back up on my feet. Whether they're actually serious about that or not, is beyond me. o.o

For those asking, I did not change my security information frequently (Password, PIN, etc...) I didn't change it frequently, simply because I was paranoid that the official website itself may or may not be bugged to phish/log all changes related to account information.
Also, another question for those who've been hacked in the past, did you find any... odd/useless items in your inventory after being hacked? I noticed that my Buccaneer had some memory journal item (Probably relating to one of the events) in its inventory.
The majority of my characters were in Ardent mill, but my Buccaneer was in the FM, when I exited, I was in Ardent mill... o.o
I sent a ticket to Nexon regarding this, and I hope I am eligible for some sort of compensation, even if it's no where near enough to compensate for all that I've lost. Anything to help me get back on my feet.
I think I'll go change my information stuff right now.
i was in leafre when i logged in, all my money on my db and cannoneer was stolen, and my TT 30 was gone too, almost lost an evo ring 2 lvl 17
Its only a matter of time and everyone will be hacked and basil will be a i got hacked forum.
Sorry for your loss, the most fun on ms i had was after i got hacked its weird but true.
Edit: i was in fm and yes actually i was in a vl expedition that i didn't join.
Did you change your info frequently?
