Does Taunt work @ lhc monsters?

some people tell me it doesn't other tell me it does..
so I'd like to know before i put points in it.

IF lhc monsters were bosses then 30% boss would work on them, and it does not.

Taunt does not work on Boss monsters. LHC monsters are Boss monsters, therefore Taunt does NOT work at LHC.
Exactly, if 30% boss doesnt work -> not boss
if taunt doesnt work -> boss

Seems to me it doesn't work.
But if 30% boss damage doesn't, then, it's a really mean double standard there.
