Maplestory from external hard drive
Hi, I'm trying to play MS through my external hard drive, but it doesn't work. I copy and pasted the "Nexon" folder from my laptop and I'm trying to play it on a different laptop now. It loads fine up until the hack shield part, then it just stops. How do I fix this
Edit: It used to work when I put it on my USB.

Easiest way is to reinstall it on the separate hard drive to play off of; and copy the downloader file to a separate usb drive just in case.

You CAN'T just copy and paste the folder any more. They changed the way the game is installed about half a year ago.
It USED to work that way, now it doesn't.
You HAVE to install the game onto the drive you're going to play it from, which unfortunately means you need to re-download the installation program unless you have a copy of it on your C: drive.
The thing is, no message pop up . It just stops working.
Same thing happened to me. Something about the computer not having the correct Files to run it. Some files that are installed into your comp at dl
I can't really do that. I'm over my montly bandwidth ><
