hey guys i just got hacked D
hey maplers,
so yeah, as the title says, i got hacked. i'm not too bothered by it as i can't really do anything? i think the reason i've gotten hacked is because of some form of [b]keylogger[/b] on my computer? well, i'm asking you guys to help me somehow get rid of this virus from my computer.
around 2 weeks ago, my secondary account was falsely permanently banned for illicit promoting and advertising. I logged a ticket to nexon, and a week after I logged onto the maplestory site to see how my ticket was going. instead, I saw a new character in bellocan. A level 10 jett named ggghhhff. so i knew i had gotten hacked. since this was only my secondary bishop account, i wasn't bothered too much but i immediately went to my main and changed my details (password and pic)
However, this clearly did not work.. Which makes me assume that there is a keylogger or something wrong with my computer?

keylogging programs run in the background of your computer, so go ahead and open taskmanager, and under processes look for anything suspicious under the discription if it says sumtn like windows NOT windows... jst plain sumtn that looks legit look at the image name if it says windows again or the same thing end it, also look for anything maple related i jst wrote this quickly pm me for more info ill help u out, lots of things i cant say here on basil

OT: I was also hacked recently, and when I went to find the keylogger or w/e program I had found it on my old old computer, it was folder with my username and some numbers as the name after a bit of research I had found out that this is a form of chinese meso farmers hacking people found this on a sleepywood forum

I don't believe the part on trojans being sent to you over maple, but I do believe that I was stupid as a kid and had prob downloaded so sort of virus (When I say old computer I mean from 2003ish old)[/quote]
hmm well, I don't really download anything really. I don't go to random sites or anything. I really just use my computer for youtube, facebook, gaming and uni. I can't think of anything that I may have accidentally downloaded (I've got Norton 360 btw but apparently it's easy for keyloggers to bypass this). What comes to mind is the nexon survey sites as some of them seem really dodgy so my computer may have been attacked then? I don't know. i always assumed the maplestory survey sites would be safe though.

its not like he's gonna get any actual help I've seen this thread about a thousand times and never seen an answer on it i was simply stating he should try to find an answer on google because he isn't gonna get any answer from this community. Sorry for trying to be comedic
