What phone should I get?

I'm getting a new phone this weekend with Sprint, and I don't know what to get at all.

I know the iPhone 5 is coming out, so I'm not really convinced by getting an iPhone 4S with 3G.

I've been thinking about getting a Samsung Galaxy S3. But I don't really like another android since I've had terrible experiences with it.

Okay, so it begins.

Good luck with a droid, everyone I know who has or had one usually regrets getting it. Except the one with the galaxy s2, so you might like the Samsung series.

I hear the Galaxy Note 2 is supposed to come out soon, and supposed to rival the iPhone 5. Ohh and don't trust prototypes yet. You never know if they cloaked it in some ugly cosmetic before shipping the final version, like the S3.

I still think, even though you've had bad experiences with android, the Galaxy S3 is the best choice
Then what's stopping you from getting a 4s?
I stated it before. If there's a 4G LTE option going around for Sprint, why pay the same price for 3G service, when I can get 4G LTE service instead for the same price?

So I guess I'll try for another android.
I have both an android 4.0 tablet and the iPhone 4, and here are my conclusions

The iPhone UI is more pleasant to use. The native music app is easier to use, and the app store is more organized. Also, there are a lot more games on the iOS market, and apps are generally released there first. A few gripes. Apple completely lacks any GPS feature in iOS currently, and personally, I hate the design of the 4/4s. Glass on front and back makes it extremely vulnerable to cracking, and I have seen a LOT of iPhone/Touch users with broken screens.

Android? The UI is interesting in its own way. Google has implemented a 3 button thing at the bottom of the screen that is easy to use - a whole lot better than the customer UIs handset manufacturers put on them. Apps that are usually a dollar on the iOS app store are free for android for some reason - don't know why. Gripes - Battery life is total crap, and I had wifi problems that my iPhone didn't have.

Of the two, I would prefer the iPhone just becaues I need a simple phone to do my crap without wasting time when I need to. Android is more of a tinkerer's phone, so take your pick. I would probably wait for the iPhone 5 though if you wait on the iPhone.
2/3 months away is a long time to wait for an iPhone
I guess I'll have to wait for the iPhone 6/7 to come out after my 2 year contract

(I actually really wanted to get an iPhone, oh well)

GS3 looks soo beast. I would have gotten that one but the GS1 can't even fit in my hands and pockets.
I also think you shouldn't get the iPhone 5 because of this. I didn't fully read the article, so I'm not sure if they're actually ditching the original dock.

edit: oh, guess i typed too slow. ._.
hopefully you won't run into problems with the gs3!
Yes, it is really good waaaaay better than 2.2.2
I think S3 is better since it have 32gb internal storage + you can use a microsd too so more space for your nudes!
Omg did you really just say that? Um

I think it's 16 GB for 200 and 32 for 300?
16GB is big enough and 2.2.2 is really bad... I feel like throwing it in the garbage can right now.

I guess thread lock time! *I'll lock it tomorrow if anyone else on basil is looking for a phone besides an iPhone*

Guess I'll get an Galaxy S3 thank you everyone!

Is it as good as people are telling me it is?
The HTC One X..?

I think I read about it having a terrible battery life, not sure if it was that model. I guess I'll have a look.

It all depends how you'll use it.

I have the LG virgin mobile phone and it works fine for me.

Then again, I rarely use it. I only text, and not very much.

If you'll use your phone more, you have to think of a different one.
My lovely Betty,

I'm actually using the Virgin mobile Optimus V and the memory is just terrible even with the expanded SD slot, and the processor is really b-a-d for my usage. So, my dad decided to upgrade to the Sprint plan with a family plan. So yeah I really don't know what to get now.

@bePig: I'm running on 2.2.2 and every app I try to open doesn't even open, so I need a new phone yep
