i like to try and get a boyfriend lol

same. maplestory always changes so one moment you're considered somewhat decent and two years later, you're considered wea.

I go on just to do the event stuff like attendance, daily bossing, and weekly dojo. The only motivation I have is the fact that my range is somewhat close to the 2m mark, which is getting crazily difficult to reach. I'm probably going to stop playing once I hit the 2m since that's just one of those goals I've had for awhile and never did anything to attain til now.

I remember before MTS gets removed when you make a purchase you will get hacked.

MY GOAL :

Kill horntail in 2 minutes

i started playing star step. that thing is so fun but nobody joins >.<

Daily quests/bossing.
Exploit events and make the most out of the free junk they give us.
Buy low, resell high.

Then buy pretty NX and neglect my range.

So this is more personal than I thought, I mean, I had my doubts, but man, you really have a grudge to deal with. Not to mention, this had been going on for quite some time with you, hasn't it? Not taking anyones sides, but to be honest, with a mind like yours, you have so much more to learn baby boy. Not to mention, you completely disregarde what Traitor was talking about. I'm pretty sure majority of your post are trolling now, so I'll keep it short, do not, and I repeat, do not get carried away only because you are on basil. I know this little grudge of yours must be hard to deal with when the one person you do not favor is slapping knowledge and truth to you, and quite frankly, I do not care. @benyedidia: Who cares about e-fame. Just do whatever you want on MapleStory and get on with life. If you don't play anymore, still...get one with life.

You don't spend your time in game to impress me, you have a choice to continue your life and do as you please but you're still here on the forums lecturing me. Last time I checked, it was free to play and find enjoyment in, spending is optional, it's only a shortcut for those who don't want to put in time or effort to improve their own goals. [b]Time is money.[/b] Sure, it may take you longer than you want, but that's what a journey is all about. Honestly, I totally believe you when you say you quit MapleStory, more power to you.

However, I am say that you live in my shadow because you quit the game yet you make so much effort to come on the forums and try to convince everyone that you are master race and superior because you did something to trivial as to stop playing an online game that people will eventually stop playing. This holds true for other games as well.

You can only say that my MapleStory friends are not my friends, but I doubt you had any real friends to begin with. Regardless where you meet your friends, it's the bonds that form that matter. The argument will become "Get some real life friends you loser" or along the lines of that. However, I have met, hung out, and lived with these people for a bit. You, who simply stopped playing a game under your parents roof using their electricity, their internet, their purchased computer, and resources will come on a forum acting all superior on a high-horse as if people doing something they like to do is a crime.

I am sorry to say that is kind of pathetic. MapleStory is a hobby that people still find enjoyment in. You may not, that is okay too; just don't put your own life decisions effect others. You may argue that people slave 8+ hours a day doing so, but who doesn't spend a lot of time pursuing their own given interests?

tl;dr: If you don't find enjoyment in the game anymore and have quit, good for you. Live life and enjoy whatever you choose to do, there's no use spending all your MapleStory gameplay time on the forums telling everyone else who is still playing that you are so much superior to them because you don't play anymore. Pathetic use of time.

@benyedidia ouch! Dont you think that was a little harsh? I certaintly didnt get that vibe from the author. However, just like @Traitor said, when you dont have goals on maple, it tends to become a bit tedious to get on and play without the enjoyment to do so. Also, did you have a similar experience such as Traitor? The way you present yourself seems to come from dissapointment and non-satisfaction. Not defendng anyone, nor am I stating if anyone is in the wrong or right, but causing ill will towards someone based on their own perspective can be frowned upon. Having a strong conviction can have its moments. I play maple just fine without impressing anyone, nor am I paid to do so either way. I have made friends on maple and met them in real life, I dont spend money on the game, everything is hard earned, so why are people like me considered losers and noobs? Maybe I'm overthinking your post, however, please, for future references, do not be quick to make assumptions. We all play maple, so there is something that you keep playing the game for, question is, what is it?

Hehe, you guys may laugh at me, but eh, oh well. After waiting for about 10 mins to log in maple, I do my dailies as usual, chill with the guild, and ironically, I go traveling in maple. I put on my playlist of music, mostly peaceful like tycho, MNDSGN, Tokimonsta, Nujabes, or even lupe fiasco, and I go to places that were awesome spots back in the day. One if them in the hidden street bathhouse, I remember as a first time player, I always wanted to know why the girl characters didn't spawn in with the boys lol. (Hey, that was about 4-5 years ago, I was new ). Other spots include the haunted mansion where all my old buds would grind their brains out after getting a good map with no kser's, remember those days guys and gals? (Yea, I know, people still ks, though, not as severe as back then). All in all, I don't hate on maple, I may have words with Nexon about stupid@ss gimmicks or irritating glitches, but hey, I can only say I'm human, and that I enjoy the little things. (And dislike the bad). So, what do you enjoy about maple? Or at least what was your true reason to play the game? Do not say damage, that one is just a lazy response XD.

Daily bossing with guidies for contribution, hang out with people, events if I can be bothered. Pretty much it.
Been trying other games with a group of Ms friends instead, heaps of fun~

How grindy is it haha. Repetitive stuff is just a a complete bore for me and I don't think I can put myself through that pain again lol.(last event I did was the 3 weeks where you had to grind like 200 monsters each map until you got the Celestial chair) Besides that, where are people getting these HUGE ASF chairs from? The ones that cover like half the frigging map.

@goldyboi: Yeah ikr. My mate has MS1 opened to AFK on while he plays MS2 on the korean servers lol.

I didn't start in Beta but saw my cousin play during beta. I couldn't afford a computer then. By the time I finally started, It was already the first day they released Bera. He wanted to start fresh in a different world since a lot of our relatives are playing now. But yeah, this game has nothing new. Just same repeated events and ongoing hot times. Can you believe they freaken gave us 10 2xexp drop coupon. Are they thinking we're poor or something? I feel like they're mocking us and making fun of this game right now. I feel like they are effing around with us. I hate Nexon North America.

If you've got all of your link skills, you can farm gollux, comerci, ect and then self scroll/cube them using purely in game methods and no nx. It would take longer, but NX just makes things more convenient.

@xLikeNoOther: Black Heaven, Friend Story, and Tower of Oz, They did add Gollux and Commerci which you can do daily. That's all i can think of at the moment.

Personal goals and doing whatever. I think most people quit because they don't socialize and aim to be internet famous or become a known bigshot. One the realization is gone that they can't without putting in money or effort, they take the easy road and just don't do it at all and drop it[quit]. There's no reason to log on if you don't socialize or have any personal goals to work towards. Not saying you need the best gear or damage, but if you find your little clique to chill with after a long day of work/school/doing stuff and have something little to work towards, you may still find enjoyment.

Other than that, you do you budy.
