Question about 4th job advancement
So I was wondering if it was still possible to buy that one secret scroll from that scroll guy in ludi, rather than having to hunt down manon and griffey to get those items. I've been searching for manon and griffey for awhile now and every time I arrive there I always see someone level 160+ there before me and channel surfing looking for them and they'll kill it before I get a chance to even touch them, so frustrating...

You have to get in line mate, most of those +160 people are hunting for cries.
Edit: Derp it doesn't apply for explorers for 4th job, they get their own instanced map for Manon and Griffey.

did you talk to Job Instructors first? cause otehrwise it's impossible for you not to fight them alone (instanced as someone said)
No its different now, it should take you to an instanced map. when you enter the portal. you have to fight it alone, but its guarenteed to give you what you need
