Who likes to run
Any Basilers enjoy running? I'm about to run for the first time in about a month. I'm not sure what's going to happen, but I'm hoping to run at least 3 miles (along with different core work outs every 200 meters or so).

I can only run for 0.337272847 nanoseconds
I usually go for a jog 3/4 times a week, just to keep up my endurance/stamina. It's required that I have music while running, else I freaking hate it.
Running helps me alleviate stress. So I love running. Especially at night.
i prefer walking and biking
hell yeah I love running man
it makes me reduce stress, and help me get faster
my best mile time is 5:43
I freaking hate running, but I've been running 3 miles 2-3 times a week for a 5k I'm doing in June.
If it wasn't for the fact I wanted to impress my girlfriend, I would have never done it. I'm more for lifting than cardio.
5:26 mile sophmore time
I hate running; I hate exercise in general and never do it unless forced to.
However, I still have managed to drop from 155 lbs to 142 lbs over the past three months because I'm binge dieting.
No, I'm not anorexic nor bullimic.
When I have time, rarely now that AP's are coming up, I do enjoy running. Gets a lot off my mind
well, I've been running 5 miles everyday to get out of my video game addiction (my other thread)... I gotta say, I'm improving! I've lost weight, and I feel great after a run!
I don't run, I lift weights.
6-8 miles everyday for practice
I'm a varsity cross country and track runner (only freshman), so yeah, I like running a bit.
Same except I'm a sophomore. First year of XC I ran varsity and averaged 6:45/mi (3.1 mi)
eww running. </3
5:30 mile! Must improve @_@.
When I do, which I rarely, I love it. I used to be able to jog at a pace for about an hour? Not sure about now... Probably way outta shape
I can run a mile in 8:13 but then i black out (true story) (not an impressive time)
I prefer biking, but more for adventure as opposed to exercise
Last summer I used to run 10k KM about 5 times week. I've gotten into body building since, so I rarely do cardio anymore. But yesterday, I went to a different gym just to mix things up and I was able to run on the track for 20 minutes without feeling exhausted or taking any breaks. still got it I guess
Cool! I ran 10ks, but only once a week. I upped it about a mile every week. I guess it's because I spent each day doing something else. Monday was sprints, Tuesday was lower body, Wednesday would be distance, and Thursday would be upper body. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday were days I spent relaxing/lifting weights just for fun.
Anyway I'm heading out now so adios all. Have a good discussion, for me!
i like lifting

I run all the time. Makes me feel extremely light after a good run
I am scared of hernias based on other peoples events so I bike instead
I heard that hernias are mostly associated with lifting too much weight, but I could be wrong. That's interesting. WAY TO PLANT A SEED OF PARANOIA IN MY HEAD.
But I do wear briefs, which are compression-ish, hopefully aiding to prevent hernias.
@TheDStar you need to do something about it
Not lasting beyond 3 minutes is a sign that you are not taking proper care of your body
unless you are an old gramps
I am scared of hernias based on other peoples events so I bike instead
@Chema: I can 3 minutes without getting tired, so after that, I'm a zombie.
I like running, but I don't have a lot of stamina, so I can only run for 3 minutes.
The hell is wrong with you
I like running, but I don't have a lot of stamina, so I can only run for 3 minutes.
