What is your personality type? Mbti

Many people have heard of this, and I'm sure there are threads relating to this subject as well, but I'm curious to know the MBTI types of you Basilers.

So basically how this works, is that there are four different scales :

-Extrovertedness/Introvertedness
-Intuition/Sensing
-Thinking/Feeling
-Perceiving/Judging

Each person will score differently on each scale, and the dominating side will be the letter represented in your unique MBTI type.

For example - Bob is an extroverted boy (E). He prefers sensing over intuiting (S). He uses his feelings to make decisions (F). He is a very organized and structured person. (J).

All those letters combined would form "ESFJ".

Now, most of you are probably thinking, "So what now? I'm an ESFJ, what does this mean?"

Every single type (out of the 16 MBTI types) has very unique and specified and personal traits and functions concerning their type.
It isn't just about letters or traits - it goes WAY deeper than that. If you search up your MBTI type description, they will give you a VERY VERY accurate and detailed description of how your brain works, what makes you tick, what interests you, your best romantic matches, etc.

There is a lot more to this MBTI structure, but I'll save it for another time since it'll mostly just confuse you all.

Anyways, so here is the MBTI test!

There are many many more descriptions, but here are a select few. ^

Honestly, I truly love MBTI for it is so very accurate and insightful, and truly is a wonderful tool to learn more about yourself, and to grow as a person.
It helps you to connect with people who are similar to you and who are the same type as you, and it'll make you feel like you belong in this world - like you're truly a part of something.

There are multiple forums to discuss your type and interact with other types, and one extraordinary site is http://www.personalitycafe.com

I highly suggest you visit it if you're interested.

@xNeonCookies Yeah, I'm not really too sure why it did change, but I guess I will read more into the descriptions, like you said.

@LampChops123

Usually, one's MBTI's type doesn't change, unless they're going through an extremely stressful period in their lives, or are dealing with mental issues (not saying that you are). Maybe due to current circumstances you may "seem" different to yourself, but deep inside, your core personality never changes.

Perhaps reading the more elaborate descriptions will help?

@ImWada As I've said earlier, each type has their own set of quirks and perks. No type is superior to another, and each type is special and valuable in its own way.

ISTJ's are very proper, favoured in society, duteous, and conscientious. If you read the links I've shared above then you'd get a better picture of who you are, and what it means to be an ISTJ. (:
Oh.

I came back a few days ago after a long hiatus from Basilmarket. Sorry about that. But it's always nice to have more people informed and aware about MBTI. (:
Besides, a lot of new members join in every single day, (or come back from a long break like I did), so it's always good to keep them informed.
Don't worry we're not mad.

It was basil, in fact, that got me introduced to mtbi.

imo more threads are a good thing

Edit: @AntiJoseph

Every single type is equal to each other. No type is superior in any way. Sure, each type has their flaws, but they also have very unique traits to them as well.
I'd say that INTP's are one of the most complex people I've ever met. They're very concise in their speech, and although they are quite different from the majority of society, I personally like them. They're one of the more technical types - and they're especially interested in science and the sort. All in all, I generally like INTP's and find them to be different, interesting, and unpredictable in a good way.
