@Armelion: LOL
When I didn't get straight A+ Asian parents
Last year during the summer I went back to New York for vacation. Met some of my old buddies and we were riding bikes to the park to hang out. It was right around the corner, there was a tree and 2 cars parked next to the side walk. We had to cross the street so I went in and a car that was apparently a flower delivery truck (lol idk o.o) almost crashed into me. The cars and the trees blocked my vision so I couldn't see the left side while crossing. He swerved to the side and managed not to hit me but I think one of the flower pots broke in the process.
when I was in elementary school, if my mom had to leave earlier than usul, she would call home when i had to go to school so i wouldnt get late. i saw the clock when i was walking into the kitchen, realizing she forgot to call, so i jumped on my bike and drove really fast to the school. a car almos hit me but it managed to stop fast enough.
Almost drowned when i was around 12
I was walking across the street on my campus and a car was pretty far away so I was walking at normal speed... then the car suddenly speeds up so quickly that it ended up only a few feet away from me before I had to start running and jump onto the sidewalk to avoid being hit. It was pretty crazy, the driver must have wanted to run me over or was distracted doing something and didn't realize I was so close.
I choked on a pebble one time. I ended up swallowing it or something.... my back hurt for a long time.
I got locked out on a small porch with an angry wasp nest.
My brother started driving on the wrong side of the road. He was struggling.

Veggie?
@lian360:
Head on car collision. The guy fell asleep and drove onto the wrong side of the lane.
When I was around 3, I slid down the couch and my head rammed into a really sharp corner of the table right between my right eye and temple. I also got smacked in the head with a golf club (driver) while some guy was swinging. I've got some more but since its late, I can't say them all.
Many times:
1) I was maybe a few days-weeks old and I had just been released from the hospital. My mom accidentally threw me up when she was trying to lean my body on her so I could rest (I guess I was too light). Luckily the nurse caught me on the way down.
2) I had just been born and I had caught a cold from a relative. Since I could not blow my nose, I could not breath. Luckily a machine sucked out the mucus in my throat and nose.
3) I plugged in a hair dryer into the bathroom socket and electrocuted myself. I was passed out for 2 hours.
4) Car crash....
5) Slipped and hit my head. I passed out and bled from my skull. Luckily a neighbor saw me and took me to the hospital.
6) Tripped down a flight of stairs with a backpack that had 5 textbooks and 4 binders.
7) Cousins once were playing with knives and they accidentally threw one right at me. They were off by a foot or so.
8) Brother threw a knife when I was 9. Hit me right in the chest, through my ribcage. I have a scar to this very day.
9) Burnt hand grilling some burgers, didn't notice until I saw my hand was on fire.
10) I got stuck on the Indiana Jones ride in Disneyland because it had came off it's tracks.
A lot of people say that I should not be left out of anyone's supervision....I agree......
Your brother is lucky for not being charged and killing you ;D

What a traumatizing experience. May god bless your soul <3
I choked with a sandwich
A car was sliding on the icy road and drove straight into the sidewalk, right in front of where I was standing. I had my headphones on so I didn't notice it until it zoomed right past me > . <
Well, I was hit by a car when I was riding my bicycle and had to spend a week in a hospital, but I didn't have a flashback. I just blacked out.
0- I was taking swimming lessons and we were diving for coins and this really obese kid went over me and I couldnt get up for air and he didnt notice me so I almost drowned.
1- I punched a glass window that shattered leaving a giant cut on my right arm, and cuts on my face and arms. Luckily the scars went away though. I could have easily been blinded.
2- I hit my head and cracked my scull open, having to get stitches and tests to make sure my brain wasn't damaged
3- I was trying to complete a circuit which ended up with me being shocked for a few minutes. Luckily if fell out of my hand or i would have been toast.
4- I was staking swimming lessons and we had a test to do the backstroke and I was in the deep end doing it and the teacher looked away for a minute and I started to drown. He jumped in the water and saved me luckily..
5- I was riding on the out side of a moving train and had to jump of so I wasn't crushed by an upcoming tunnel. Broke my hand and messed up my spine/leg
6-I got hit by a car, going around 80 mph + - and had to get some surgeries and broke bones. I also bent my spine which could have paralyzed me and suffered pretty bad had trauma. The guy that hit me tried to drive away and was screaming at me. He acted like I was a deer that was hit and it was no big deal. I was diagnosed with amnesia too because of the accident. During one of my 4 surgeries I woke up. That was scarring. The physical damage of the accident is nothing compared to the emotional damage. I have nightmares which make me afraid to sleep some nights. I don't really tell people but I fear cars, and hate being in them, I forget things easily and get frustrated when people yell at me ect when I forget.I really try to remember but I cant... I cant blame them though, only my parents know about it and some doctors. Sometimes my parents tell at me too because I forget things. I'm always teased and people joke about it like its no big deal. My family does the same thing constantly calling me crippled and fragile. They don't seem to understand that I had less than a 8% survival rate. So I'm already dead on the inside. This accident killed me. So it wasn't a near death experience but my death itself. I may have another surgery coming up because on of my legs are longer than the other so they want to "fix it"
Oh ya did I mention im only 14....
I feel like at 5-6 you just went troll mode like srsly what u doing on the outside of a train lmao.
When I was young, I almost drowned, by falling into a pool, and almost choked a chip. ;l
A few years ago I was swinging but in an odd way and I feel down hard in my head and I felt that I would loose my memory. (which for me my life would end)
Luckily I was fine but I was bleeding and they had to sew me for my stitches in the emergency room. *shivers*
*Yes Grammer Nazis, I fixed it.
@lNinjaxMaplerl: Oh my goodness. I am really glad you are still fine.

This happend to me in 4th grade, my freind wanted pokemon cards for saving my life.. Then another time I was at the beach in Florida during hurricane season and me and my dad was like the only ones there for some reason, meh few other ppl too. Well I went to swim thinking I can just swim under the large waves. Turns out everytime I swam under one more and more came and eventually I couldn't come up for air anymore and was trapped rolling under waves for like 2-3 mins. Then I eventually washed up like 1/6 a mile away from where my dad was. I came out and my dad didn't believe me -_-.
I live by a real busy street , got hit by a car twice
Almost got hit by a bus
I think I was about 5..? I grasped onto one of those electric neon signs that small business have on display on their windows. All I remember was this fuzzy burning sensation and blacking out. o.o
Uhm. I've nearly gotten hit by cars over 20 times.
i fell from a high cliff 6 years ago, luckily i fell into a Christmas tree at the bottom.
I touched a shark, but it was in a museum and dead so it was k.
LOOL u got pwned in that thread!11 wat a lozer
OT: when i was 8 i tried to swim against the current of a river and slipped and blacked out
next thing i know was waking up with my lil sis crying beside me
How'd you even end up in a river and how'd you get back on land?
I think I almost got ran over yesterday in the rain. It was quite frightening.
i ate two large cookies (hard brownies) on 4/20.
February, 2007. My junior year of high school. Just before I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, I had severe hyperglycemia and diabetic ketoacidosis. My blood sugar was in excess of 1200 mg/dL. To put that in perspective, 80-120 mg/dL is considered "normal", and people typically start going into comas and dying at ~700.
Fortunately I maintained consciousness, though I was delirious and dehydrated to the point of near-death. Had I passed out then, I probably would not have woken up. So I was rushed to the ER, doctors saved my life, I got mad because I had made kind of accepted death at some point.
Interesting note: @Kushied is either undead, or was somehow resurrected following death by electric shock. It's a miracle!

Feel in the pool in Grade 1 and almost drowned. Until this handicapped kid reached his hand in and pulled me out, or maybe I pulled myself out and he helped...I'm not to sure, and the !@#$ing gym teacher was just watching WHILE I WAS DROWINING >:O MY LUNGS WERE FILLING UP WITH WATER
i actually saw my life flash before my eyes one time but it was because i tripped on a rock lols
When i got 1/1'd by czak jk when i goy kick down the 10m diving platform and landed on my stomach
Whole front part of my body was red
Almost tripped over the side of the shower/tub getting out
I was walking to my friend's house and I had to cross the street. When the light went green, I started walking, but this idiot car who was turning left was blind and didn't see me.. so his/her mirror hit my left arm.. hard. I could've gotten run over but I'm glad it was just my arm. I didn't have to go to the hospital or anything.. in fact, I didn't even tell my parents about it. My arm just felt numb for like an hour, I thought it was paralyzed or something. And as for the stupid driver, he/she stopped for a bit, looked at me, then drove away. But before they drove away, I flicked them off and said "Learn how to drive, idiot."
In January this year a day after my birthday I went LARPing with my brother and his friends. Although on our way to the field on the freeway we started hydroplaning and the car swerved off the side and rolled down the embankment. We made sure everyone was alright and when we called 911 we were on hold forever (like 7mins). After we got picked up by the fire trucks and ambulances my brothers hand got stitched up because it was cut near the knuckles (right hand and he's right handed).
6 missed calls from my mom...
Almost got hit by a 80lb rock straight in the face. I ducked, it clipped my ear and almost tore it off.
Had Pneumonia twice but that wasn't too bad
when I almost drowned in the deep end of the pool after swimming lessons.
awgawd. sao scary.
Appendix exploded.
Jk, but it is one of the greatest pains humans can feel. And can quite possibly kill you.
From what I heard, once you're sucked into the pool drain, you never come back out alive. How did you manage to get out?
hahaha this is weird to talk about
the drain was like, on the side of the pool wall, so i could still kind of get my nose above water and somebody got me out after a few minutes of realizing i guess. it was just up to my ankle that got sucked in too, not like my entire leg or something
i climbed a tree
fell down
felt like i was dead </3
