Look at it this way. If you confess, you'll know how she/he feels about you rather than not confessing. And maybe later down the road, you found out he/she did have feelings for you, then you'll feel really dumb. Even if they rejected you, then that just tells you to move on. All and all, its for the best. It will be embarrassing but itll die down over time. Wish you the best of all
