Couple Questions for a Returning Player

Real old time player here returning after a few months hiatus. The game has changed so much since I last played and I'm having a bit of a difficult time choosing which character to main, so if you could kindly drop a vote and write up a reason I'd definitely appreciate it. All characters are fundable up to at least full Empress. The Xenon and Kaiser have full CRA, and I could probably at least use them to farm Gollux/San Commerci if not use them as mains.
Also, if I were to purchase about 50k NX, what would be the best application of it to turn it into mesos? Gacha or Marvel Machine?
I have several perm NX items from a long time ago, and I recall that the Luminous Cherubim, Snowflake Rod, and Neon Pink Pants were worth quite a bit. Any idea what they're worth now?
In addition, how about the chairs they released about this time last year? Shark N Slide, Comic Book Lounger, and Tropical Cooler Chairs?
I await your responses eagerly, if anyone would like to maybe buddy up ingame and kind of reintroduce me that'd be great, and you can add me on Swagborg.

Neon pink pants are kind of worthless. The other two are decent.
Summer surprise boxes will be out shortly so you could wait for that. Gacha too for the new chairs but Gacha has so much crap in it, too.

If you're planning on getting far, they're all pretty much gonna be around being just as expensive. All class can pretty much hold their own. Classes will always get nerfed/rebalanced at one point or another anyways. So if you enjoy something, play it.
If you can't choose between classes, pick the one you think you will enjoy the most. If you didn't like it as much as you thought you did, choose the next one. Rinse and repeat.
I know Neon Pink Pants are worth like 50m now. (100m MAX) this is bera.
Snowflake Rod and the Cherubim is still worth around the same I think. Like 500m-1bil?
A funded Kaiser is always great.
The Shark N Slide chair should be worth couple bil.
