I know well people will be asses, and there is little to be done about it. I am not trying to say this game can be golden. I am only trying to promote the barest bones of human decency in the game I play. I am sorry that even that pale light cast on you reveals the sad, whiny pathetic little monster you are, but that is something you need to come to terms with. Now try a little rationality this time. You admitting you are a pathetic little jackass abusing your anonymity for sad short term gratification really only make you look like the "bad ass" you seem to think you are in your own mind. The rest of us see bravado like yours as something to pity.

When I own a map (technically there's no ownership to a map, but rather a common courtesy to the rule of first come first serve), and then people pop in to kill around the map, I wait for a couple seconds to a minute until they realize that I was in the map first before them. If they don't realize it, I'd ask "Would you mind Changing Channels please?" I think this should be a common courtesy in Maple. Then if they ask when they can share a map (usually not happening unless 2x exp), I usually say yes if I'm not capable of eliminating all, if not most; otherwise, I'd say no and sorry.

When I'm looking for a map, I'd check all channels first. If I think there's no hope for finding a good channel, I start asking each channel whether they're going to leave anytime soon. If anytime near a couple minutes or just a couple more %, I'd just sit and wait. If fame is available, I'd fame them when they give me the channel.

Although there is no in-game system that claims ownership to a map, I think common courtesy should be with everyone. The sad truth, however, is that what's "should be common" is not actually common. I dunno but majority of the people don't do what I do like in the above. I'm not sure if my technique is a very good way but it has prevented many possible KS wars happening.

[b]BEFORE[/b], the [b]only[/b] time I get really mad that I start mashing and cussing at my keyboard is when I'm so much weak that I can't really KS back to the KSer even though I got the map first and have done every possible way to ask nicely for them to leave. That's when I call for back up. Though, by far, I have only encountered such situations mainly on 2x events or in popular maps. This sad truth of KSers is one of the reasons that really made me not want to go back to lower levels anymore and now only train in quieter maps. [b]After[/b] giving some thought, however, after all those times back then, I learned to just laugh off whenever someone tries to KS me. People, however, tend to forget they should be enjoying the game. Well, I guess they have a reason; who can enjoy the game when someone is trying to stop them from doing so? I, myself, can't exactly answer that question that can apply to every KSing cases; but one thing I can say is that I just have to say it's a game and some game developer has decided to become a tough guy and put some challenge to the players. I dunno, my reasoning is weird but just... er... whatever... Good luck. LOL.

Not to mention, the higher the level I get, the less illiterate and mean players I encounter. Not trying to discriminate lower levels, but high levels truthfully is a fun time after endurance of training with mean KSing people. Just a motivation for everyone who read my entire post, patience! It'll get better later on and try to think that whoever is being mean (KSing sort of) to you is just some sad kid.

When people tell me to "CC PLZ" as I enter the map without doing anything, that'll give me reason and incentive to kill steal. If they wait and let me change channels without saying anything, then I will not bother them. Stay quiet and continuing to kill is seriously the best method of avoiding to being KSed.

The proper way to ask someone to change channels while occupying a map is to wait for them to start attacking the monsters you're training on before asking them to change channels. This way, you'll know that they acknowledged you on the map rather then having being told almost instantly.

Well, when someone tells me to cc it is so rude. Like them telling me to cc is gonna change my plans seriously. Ksing is against tos and counts as user abuse. Gotta report them. 3-9 day temp ban depending on their number of offenses. Hey, is someone tells you to cc just stick around even if you planned to change channels. Just to screw with em. Channels belong to everyone. What's even worse....is when someone who tells you to cc counts all the kills you get to be ksing him even if he's nowhere near them or is ks stalking you to get you to leave. "nu u ksing me. its my channel and all monsters are mine so you ksing".

I was just trying to find a rope and these monsters kept on hitting me and he thought that I was attacking his mob. They need to learn how to make full complete sentences, instead of just 5 letters.

Yeah that annoys me too...Normally if I'm under 80% normally if someone cc's into my chan I'll usually let them have top or bottom to keep the spawn running. I normally train with my friend that is overpowered (lol evan) so if someone comes to my ch and starts ksing me (saders are slower than other classes) >_> I'll normally call him up to drive them out. I say you start doing that ;D

I don't say cc, ccpls, or any variation thereof.
Most people hate it when people spam "change channels" in any form right when they enter the map, so I wait until they actually start to kill in my map or ks me and say "can you please stop killing here?" which implies that as long as they aren't killing anything in my map, they are of course free to stay, which they are. unless they start harassing me, in which case they will be reported.

It really sets me on edge, especially when I channel surf a map more than twice, and the same person says "cc plz" AGAIN while I was passing through. If you're really paranoid about ksers, take the time to be careful and not offend your passerby's by actually typing the entire thing out.

When you begin to ks a map, would you react better to "Could you please cc? " (Which is what I say)
or "CC NOOB!" or "CCPLZ". I believe my way gives a more human touch to it, and people react better to the kindness.
I think it makes them feel like "Why should I ks this nice person when I could ks someone else who's 'CCPLZ' spammer?"
Kinda an odd way to look at it, but it works! I hardly ever get ksed, and if I do, it's never for too long!

If your not polite, why should they be polite?

Do you know how many times I've been just scrolling through channels, I get on channel [i]x[/i], and suddenly, I'm barraged with, CC NOW, CC NOW, CC NOW. All I'm doing is looking for a map, why should I have to put up with some stuck-up little kid, demanding that I chance channels, despite me literally just appearing?

But then again, perhaps its all you '[i]small-brained[/i]' kids can actually handle, as after a few years of being on Basil, I've come to realise that unless the word is McDonalds, birthday or Christmas, most kids under 14 can't spell it, if it has more than 5 letters.

Side Note #1 : That '[i]no-life jerk[/i]' is escaping from his real-life time, in his own way.
Side Note #2 : Most ks'ers do it, because they get a kick from doing it, and in a game with such immature kids, they don't even have to try hard.
Side Note #3 : Also, for the record, I don't ks, I have been ks'ed many times, and I have been tempted to ks many times, but I've never actually done it.

You didn't, because its a free game, people should be happy that there are some people who will change maps, as there is no rule saying they can't, and there is also no rule saying they can't stay in the map, and kill monsters. As long as they don't 'steal' your 'kills', which is quite a hard thing to do, as the way I see it, unless they have done 51%+ damage to the monster, its anybodies kill, as no-one has done the majority of the damage for the complete kill, also, you can't be ks'ing if your killing monsters on another part of the map, or a part where the original person isn't killing, as you have not stolen anything, as they are not within killing range of the original person.

If you read the ToS, it says in there, that everything is Nexons property, the [b]maps[/b], the [b]monsters[/b], the [b]mesos[/b] in your inventory, the [b]items[/b] in your inventory, etc.

This is a free game, you have been given permission by the makers of the game, Nexon, to do so, so long as you agree to the ToS.

I'm currious to people like the guy with multi colored hair would do for the complte stranger going to your table and scarfing down the food you already paid for and the food that's already on your fork(and the fork is already lifting to your face) Imagine your with your family and it's a special meal.

I completely agree with this. As soon as I enter a map when I see ''cc plz'' it pisses me off so much. I hate being told what to do by random kids on the internet.
