Well toy guns are supposed to look as fake as possible, meaning bright vibrant colors or so, therefore I think the boy deserved it. You shouldn't even think twice about open firing if someone appears to have a weapon on them.

Why do they make these toy guns so real looking? There's a history of problems stemming from these super-realistic looking toy guns, whether they were pistols or rifles. Better yet, who would let their kid have something like that, let alone walk around with it outside at night...?

not really sure who to blame here, the dumbass kid or the dumbass cops. need more information. probably both of them.
