Thanks for the heads-up, I didn't quite do all the days but I will be doing it this whole week if i can and I for sure would like to get the boxes and the cube.

i almost fell for it; every time i clicked the event star i was tempted to finish the collect rewards quest but resisted until i did the attendance check.

Yeah, I think I did that. That's so stupid I'd assumed that the button would've been available to click on after I got my attendance. Guess I was clicking too fast to read when I was getting my dice.
The patch notes says nothing about this either

^ you could get the reward before doing day 7, which is a flaw. many a persons fell for it
