Any Ideas on laptops under 400 dollars to maple on?

Well my desktop sadly is just to outdated now to play on. It is time to upgrade to something better until i can afford a gaming desktop. So i want to get a decent laptop with ok gaming capabilities. I was wondering if anyone had any good suggestions on this. I had a Hp Dv1000 a long time ago and it was a good laptop but that was years ago. I was wondering if any of you that play on laptops had some good recommendations . Any help ; Ram ,GHz, and processor wise would be great. If you got any laptop brands and names im all ears thanks for your input. Reason im asking vs just going off the site recommendations is sometimes specs and recommendations can mean night and day in the gaming world.

@xxanbuxx: You really should become a PC gamer then, and again saving up for the desktop is better idea at least in my opinion. It will run Maple better.

But it's your choice of course.
Wrong. I'm using a $350 laptop.
>Name : Gateway NV75S02u
>AMD A8 quad-core 1.5GHz processor
>AMD Radeon HD 6620g 512 mb graphics card
>4 GB of RAM, expandable to 8
>650 GB HDD
>17.3" screen

I'm running most games at High, at 30 FPS.
the games being : Crysis 1/2, L4D2, Metro 2033, STALKER, TF2, Just Cause 2, Red Faction Guerrilla, Elder Scrolls : Skyrim, Battlefield 3, Fallout : New Vegas, Deus Ex HR
>Blahblahblahhurrrdurr.

TLDR : $350 can get you a decent gaming laptop.
Still, a $1000+ desktop will do far better then a $400 laptop. Yes that may get you a DECENT gaming laptop, but the desktop is a better solution.

Err... $400 dollars isn't going to get you a very good gaming laptop. I'd just reccommend saving up until you can buy a new desktop instead.
