my next investment is a VIP warrior shield. i just have to pay off my debts then start saving to buy and potential one until i get a 3 lined one. im not too fussed about my sword being only 2 lined as long as i get 3 lines on my shield. then i need to invest heavily until i get boss damage on my sword and some decent % str on the shield >_>

i have recently purchased a clean 120 attack 1 handed vip sword and potentialed it. i only have 2 lines on it which i am not terribly bothered about, as long as for end game, i achieve 30% boss damage, i will be happy
in regards of scrolling, what options do i have? i don't have money to burn on white scrolls and i don't intend to use dark scrolls as i don't have the resources to replace this weapon. are 50% 1h sword scrolls rare/expensive or is 60% my only option?
im going to be using both of my weapons as my 160 att nibleheim will allow me to train easier if its reduces the number of hits to kill a monster/mob but if my att range with the sword+shield combo matches/beats my nible, i might just retire it

Would I be better off using a 113att (+8att pot) RK in conjunction with a 6%str shield than a 134att Blue Screamer?
What's the ideal 1-h sword to be used past 120, and with what attack? Shield?

i have 182 att total including the sword (160 sword, 14 wg, 3 ring, 5 blessing), (i sacrificed a lot of att for %str equips which increased my att range but severely threw out my str:att ratio)
i have around 1200 str with all equips and i dont have MW so this is just pure stats + equips
i don't know if its relevent but my clean att range breaks 10k

if i only need 19% less total att than what i currently have then i would need 147.42 att meaning 125 att from a sword + shield. is this correct?
if so, i'll be doing some testing after the bb patch hits in order to determine wether converting to 1h is in my best interests.

@LethalTrizle Well if you dont mind having a lower damage range, even a 120 attack 1 handed sword and a 10+ attack shield would be no problem, keeping up with the numbers your dealing now with your 160 attack 2h sword, You'l be attack allot faster with 1 handed, anyways, so that alone might make up for SOME of the damage per hit, but overall, the damage per MINUTE would be about the same, give or take a few 10000,
And 160 attack 2 handed sword vs 140 1 handed sword + 20 attack shield, 1 hand sword out damages the 160 attack 2 hand.

im not really interested in the damage range being the same with the 1h, i just want my DPM to be the same. i dont mind if i do slightly less damage per hit as long as my damage over a set period of time is the same. the only reason i am considering to switch to 1h is because of the extra defensive abilities paladins gain when equipping a shield, otherwise would be happy to stick with my nibleheim.
also the assumption that im rolling in dough because of my swords stats is a false assumption. white scrolling a 1h is almost out of the question. if anything, i'll 60% or 50% + white scroll the 1h sword and probably achieve a maximum of 10 att on a shield. cubing is however, NOT an issue so i am prepared to cube away untill i get great stats

I would just make a reverse executioners and 60% it. I would hope for 120+ attack and a 14+ attack shield and maybe that is enough to out damage your 2h sword because of speed.
