Range for HardGollux
hey guys I was just wondering what was a good self buffed range to sit @ in order to efficiently solo hard gollux
i'm thinking about funding a nw lately and I wanna set myself a goal range

Assuming your definition of "efficient" is something along the lines of five minutes, then approximately 150-500k range.
The reason for the big difference between the lowest and the highest is because you'll need more damage if you're not used to Gollux's mechanics and moves, since he's a boss that you have to learn how to dodge, or else you'll die very easily. Having good character control is crucial.
And not only that, you'll also need more range if you have less %boss, and vice-versa.

I highly recommend making multiple characters, and doing the Gollux prequest on as many as possible. You'll want to do Easy Mode everyday on each of them, and you should get 11 coins each day, and then you can save up to buy Superior and Reinforced Gollux gear from the NPC shops.
The reason you want to do that is not only will you get used to Gollux by fighting him repeatedly, those equips sell for a hefty amount of mesos, and you can also get scrolls this way. This will allow you to make mesos in order to obtain equipment so that you'll reach your desired range to solo Hard Gollux on your main, and you'll want to use a Reinforced or Superior Gollux set eventually since they're endgame equipment.
