First lucid dream!
I just had my first lucid dream and it was trippy. I figured it out and i looked at my hands in the dream and it started shaking. I closed my eyes and said its just a dream bro and everything stopped. I went around and it was the weirdest thing thats ever happened to me in my life. I rode a train, went and surfed, hung out with girls, and flew some weird airplane. Eventually i was walking down this hill with a girl i "met" and we were talking and i just woke up. It was pretty sweet
Have you guys ever had a lucid dream?

Wats a lucid dream?
I can fully control my dreams now. Except, I can't change the time on clocks, or look into mirrors. I have no idea why.
I actually had my first lucid dream two days ago.
At first, I thought it felt weird, so to check if I was in a dream or not, I punched myself in the face and sure enough, it didn't hurt. After that, I walked around punching everyone I saw then proceeded to fly(which took me a while for some reason) and started shooting fireballs(which took forever) at the ground with my hands.
Then my alarm woke me up. It was pretty trippy.
First lucid dream was probably my best one. I was a hunter on some wild safari. Although I remember some tropical looking birds and animals and trees, we didn't shoot or kill anything. It was more like a intrepid hike while holding guns. I believe I was walking around my room while it was going on. After seeing what I believe may have been a ferocious tiger, I dove behind a rock for cover and immediately woke up to find myself on the floor (about 6 feet away from my bed).
I've yet to experience lucid dreams
Inception anybody?
I had one when I was 7.
I've hoped for the dream to return for 6 years now. Some people are so dang lucky with Lucid dreams, jeesus !
I can control my actions in my dreams. However, I can't control the actions of others.
I had a dream the other day that I was taking the really hard math test that I'm supposed to take tomorrow two days early, and there was 5 mins left and I had half a page to do, I think I started freaking out then woke up.
im pretty sure that i have, but i had no control over my body whatsoever. -sighs-
i just want one lucid dream where i can actually do stuff on my own
I wish I could! I tried and the gave up because I didn't come close to having a lucid dream. The closest I came was trying to 'summon' my favourite band - nothing appeared.
Congratulations.
With more practice, you will be able to have more.
I want a lucid dream damnit! sounds fun xD
I have nothing BUT lucid dreams for some reason. . . If I don't like my dreams, I generally "rewind" them so to speak, and re-orgainize them so I like them.
lucid dream within a lucid dream.
and @yahgav, I haven't had the experience, so I can't really tell you what it's like, haha.
@cooliee125, will definitely try that out. I haven't really done that much research on the topic, lol, so thanks!
@OhShutUp: Wow thats like super gnar, so its basically a weird form of day dreaming?
@yahgav:
this site sums up the WILD technique nicely
"The hardest part about Wake Induced Lucid Dreams is staying awake while your mind and body become completely relaxed. If you lose focus for just a few moments, you can fall asleep for real."
basically the difference between what you experienced (which was a dream-initiated lucid dream, aka DILD) and a wake-induced lucid dream (aka wake-initiated lucid dream or WILD) is that in WILD, you go directly from the waking state to the dreaming state. essentially what you're doing is 'tricking' your body into sleep paralysis while your mind is still aware.
@OhShutUp Elaborate.
I've been trying to have wake-induced lucid dreams for the past month or so, but I always end up falling asleep, lol.
How do I do this?
All i did was like realised i was in a dream then looked at my hands then vuala!
I only had one once, and it lasted...5 seconds.
I was like taking a test or something (lol) and I somehow realized I was dreaming. Soon after that I jumped out of the chair and tried flying and then immediately woke up.
you can control your dream a little bit as you approach the end of the sleep cycle and your mind prepares to wake up. try it sometime. like when u realize you're in a dream
Oh forsure ill try it! Ima try and lucid everytime i sleep now.
@ItzSwift Thats awsome you could change colors! I tryed to like spawn stuff in my hands but it wouldnt work D:
In the first lucid dream I had, I was woken by my alarm clock.
In the second, I woke up when I tried to fly.
