Brawler: Bullet Time or Dash?

Seeing as we don't need Accuracy that much, should I put 11 in Bullet Time and Max Dash or should I just max Bullet Time? Dash does provide a decent speed and jump boost, which could be useful until Transformation becomes available at Lv 70.
Using Dash for long-distance travelling purposes (i.e., "when you're NOT fighting any mob.&quot is only temporarily useful in 2nd job. Once you hit level 70, you can get a mount that is much quicker than Dash.

The 3rd job Transformation skill will put you up to max speed/jump for 45% of the time. Once you add on the 4th job Super Transformation, you should be at max speed/jump for around 95% of the time (roughly 380 of every 400 seconds). So by then, Dash is just about useless even when you ARE fighting.

You really won't need any extra accuracy if you're wearing any high-level normal dex knuckler (i.e., not trying to be dexless with a VIP Knuckler). Wearing a zakum helm, a MoN, and having max mastery and enough DEX to equip a king cent (100) will give you:
Total Acc = (1.2 * 100 DEX) + (1 * 24 LUK) + 15 (MoN) + 20 (Zak) + 60 (Mastery) = 239
Note: You get 4 base LUK + 5 from MoN + 15 from Zak helm

That 239 accuracy is enough to let you 100% hit ANY monster in the game your level or lower (except for Pink Bean!). You only need 225, but you'll have 239. (By the way, you need 625 acc at level 180 to 100% hit Pink Bean!)

The main reasons I argue for Bullet Time over Dash are:
[*] Dash is just about useless in the end (due to mounts and transformations).
[*] The +120 Accuracy from Bullet Time helps you in case you can't acquire a Zak (or Scar/Targa) and/or a MoN.
[*] The +120 Accuracy from Bullet Time helps if you ever want to fight Pink Bean! (Or any other future boss with high accuracy requirements!)
[*] The +120 Avoid from Bullet Time will save you potions in the long run... and could even save your life!
Your wrong about having enough acc to hit every monseter in the game. When i was lvl 89 i had 379 acc was was barely able to hit gallos. To be able to hit a monster now you have to be the same lvl as it or higher. At lvl 94 i stopped missing at gallos. But still dash is pretty much useless. if anything use speed pills or get mount at lvl 70

@MizuiChan Yeah I understand what you mean. But like, I thought it would be a good idea to have Dash when you're NOT fighting any mob. Would make travelling a little quicker don't ya think?

No, It's ill-advised to ever put points in Dash.

1. The way the new acc system works is that, even though we don't need as much acc as before (since we'll pretty much have to fight monsters at or below our level), you will still need the same amount of acc required to hit the monster as you would before. The miss rate from the monster's level being higher than yours is calculated seperately from the actual acc required to hit the monster, and then is tacked on after the miss rate from your acc is calculated. You could be 160 and still miss on Skeles if you have sucky acc.

2. Although it seems as though placing points into Dash would be a nice little quick-fix to a Brawler's speed problem, it actually hurts a little in the long run. You will acquire skills that target your front as well as your back, which means you will probably be changing direction often. Because of this, it is very likely that you will trigger Dash mid-combo and actually hurl yourself into the mob you're attacking, resulting in the unnecessary reduction of valuable HP. Frankly, Brawlers are supposed to start off slow, to balance out their moderately high power in lower levels. As you go through advancements, you obtain skills that compensate for the poor mobility. (i.e. Corkscrew and Backspin in 2nd, Transformation in 3rd, Long-range attacks in 4th).

Summary: I would suggest maxing Bullet Time instead of Dash, but, then again, it's YOUR CHOICE XD. Do whatever makes you happy. Live long and prosper. Buccs FTW.
