I know this might not be the correct place for this kinda thing, but im in need of quick help.
A while ago I started bleeding from one of my nose orifices for like 1 minute. then i spit some blood.
the bleeding stopped already, but im kinda worried now, what should i do? =/
I was lying down in bed about to go to sleep when this happened. thanks
I get nosebleeds every day (literally every day). Nosebleeds 99% of the time aren't anything to worry about. Your room is probably just too dry, which is common for the wintertime, and that's how you got it.
Spitting blood, however, is not normal. Unless you were laying down at the time you got the nosebleed. If that's the case, you probably had blood travel through your sinuses, down your throat, and then you spit it back up. Blood in the stomach is an irritant and your body will try to expel it, hence why you spit it. If it was only a tiny, tiny bit, this is probably it, but if you were coughing up blood (as in pure blood and not just slightly red colored spit) then I would seek immediate medical help.
yeah, i was lying down, and if i spit normally right now its not blood, and the first time it wasnt pure blood.
thanks man, that's a relief
