Game Controller for Maple?

Hey guys, last week-end I went to best buy to buy a new printer, but while there I was intrigued to find a controller that came with a maplestory gift code, this being the first time I see anything related to nexon in Quebec.
I've heard people use controllers for Aran and stuff and I was intrigued by the gift code and the controller.

So my question for you guys is, is it easy to set-up? For which classes is it useful? Is it worth the money?

This is the thing I saw with the game code F310
(Put a ? after app04-42 which is before id= )
Is it worth it? Or should I get something like an xbox controller? I don't remember what it was called, but I remember there being a xbox controller for the Xbox and for the PC. (2 in 1)

I don't know. I don't use a controller.
But the gift is prolly a big game controller chair (pretty nice). Haven't seen one of those for about 1 year.

Depending on your computer system, you may have to set up the drivers to allow your computer to recognize the controller.
Once your controller is recognized and calibrated if need be, when you have your Maplestory open you can go into the joypad settings and assign specific keys to the controller's buttons.
After doing that, you can assign specific hot keys, skills, pots, etc. to the designated keys that correspond to the joypad's settings.
