Controller Help Please

Recently, I have purchased an Xbox 360 controller so that I may play computer games (And it has worked magnificently), but I need help for Maplestory.

At the moment, I've only played a select few classes but for most I feel much more comfortable using my Keyboard and mouse, while classes like Aran I'd rather have my controller, but I have a problem.

No matter which button I set my attack key to, I can never combo! I will simply do the normal starting swing of an Aran's combo and not follow up. I have the skills and it works fine when I use my keyboard, but my controller can't seem to do it properly. For everything else, my controller runs at perfection, working even better then if I were to use my keyboard.

Is there a solution to this?
