Does SAO 2's artwork look worse compared to the first season? Something is throwing me off. It looks different.

Just watched the fight in the most recent episode and new OP.
Animation is much better now
In my opinion the quality has improved, without changing the actual character design, which I love.

Even GGO was interesting because at least it had to do with life or death. The mother rosario arc so far is boring, hopefully it gets better.

Maybe you were comfortable with the old animations, so it feels "different" now since they changed it?
The artwork and animation for Asuna and Zekken's fight looked pretty nice to me

You should watch the new one. First real fight scene in the 2nd season so far, and it was an Aruna fight scene too.
Anyways it definitely got better it wad just that the world of Aincrad was prettier is all.
I think there were obvious improvements of animation seen in some of the earlier episodes, and I think a sword fight between Kirito and someone else in GGO.
