Ah good to know but I dont see any attack options? Granted the 30% luck looks great anyway.
Spell Traces are a system that replaces scrolls. It's very handy, really... though you do need to have a good chunk of them.
You can click the hammer icon or even just double-click the spell traces in your inventory to open the upgrade UI. Click and drag the item you want to upgrade into the slot and it'll give you a list of scrolls you can use on the piece of equipment and how many spell traces are needed to act as that scroll. For example, a 30% scroll is about 500 traces. The safer the scroll, the less traces needed, but the effect from the scrolls are lowered too.
Now, whenever they do a Spell Trace Fever event (keep an eye out for these, one's coming up this weekend), spell traces are about 25% more effective. That means a 70% scroll will work 95% of the time and a 30% scroll will work 55% of the time. Last week, I burned out my slot and a half of traces to upgrade my DB's Fafnir set with 30% scrolls and it went surprisingly well =p
Essentially they work to replace almost every scroll..
So rather than using a GFA60% for example, you can use X amount of spell traces (the # depends on your equip level) and scroll it with 70% spell trace.
Also, there is an event coming up this weekend where 70% spell traces have a 95% success rate. If you plan on scrolling equips I would stock up and do it this weekend
Really? Didnt think they could be used for replacing attack.

Go "enhance" your item with the hammer icon in your inventory by press I
Drag the item you want to enhance, it'll tell you how many x amount of traces and it works like a scroll.. depending on what you choose the lower success rate, the more spell traces it consumes.
Then you can star force it much cheaper way than rather than using AEEs
