Which Graphics card
I wanted to know how much better the r9 270x is compared to the 7870 ghz edition because I found these 2 online and don't know why one is almost half the price of the other when they're supposed to be about the same.

270x has mantle, and will be supported longer
I would get the 270x simply because it'll be supported by AMD longer. They're both the same cards and picking the newer one is obviously the better choice.
GPUBoss says the MSI is a smidgen better. Take that with a grain of salt, if you will. I prefer Nvidia cards.

Sometimes spending a bit more on a card with aftermarket cooling and such is a better investment than cheaping out.

The MSI is just a tiny bit better then 7870
like an mini upgrade to the 7870.
if you got the money go with the MSI
is newer and better.
if you don't have the cash go with the 7870
