@Deciduous It's weird that I feel like that's a p natural progression for Samumenco.

i feel a bit cruel wanting to kick the show for just two particularly bad episodes (out of like...5 that made the Flamenger arc), not including any animation issues (haven't paid attention). it's licensed in a bunch of places outside of Japan so maybe it won't do terribly?
@qtprincessxoxo: i was going to append some yelling about Samumenco in my PM but i'll just do it here: Alien Flamenco was unremarkable but led into the best season finale i could've hoped for and it's pretty meta. despite that, the series continues with Masayoshi becoming World President, slice-of-lifey hijinks and the show is trying to ship everybody. then you meet Goto's girlfriend and TEENAGE TERRORISTS?
read: one of the kids who beat up Masayoshi in ep1 quotes him and then a bomb explodes

i'd say it recovered really well between the Super PM/Universe stuff and the recent twist. kinda on the fence about Goto's deal bc it just seems really messed up and kinda dumb, but i guess they needed to do it bc his gf is inevitably related to this arc.
or he's just going to hook up w Mari, idk

It was good, then it was an unfortunately lengthy sentai tribute, then it was starting to actually be about something, then [i]aliens[/i]. I haven't watched the latest two episodes yet, but I heard they're lulzy.
