Is my Comp Fit for Maplestory? Any help is appreciated!

Well, ever since Arans were released, i noticed that when i ran Maplestory i had a slight lag. I was ok with it at first, because it wasn't really noticeable. Unfortunately over time (and more patches, and evans coming out), i have lagged alot more and even lost the ability to Balrog Pq Easy (50-70) (Disconnecting as soon as i enter) , but i didn't care but about 2 weeks ago I lost the ability to even walk in channel 1 free market entrance (Without my screen blacking out and me having to manually shut down my computer). So i've come to you, the members of Basil Market for assistance. Here are the stats (don't know the word for it) on my computer.

Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600)
System Model: Dell DE051
BIOS: Phoenix ROM BIOS PLUS Version 1.10 A01
Processor: Intel(R) Celeron (R) CPU 2.53GHz
Memory: 510 RAM
Page file: 356MB used, 892MB available
Direct X Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)
Graphic Thing. (I think)
Name: Intel(R) 82865G Graphics Controller
Chip Type: Intel (R) 82865G Graphics controller
DAC TYPE Internal
Approx. Total Memory: 96.0
Curent Display Mode 1024x768 (32 bit) (60hz)

(Edit) I'm already playing on the lowest maplestory graphics, no hp bars and monster names, sometimes i even block my chats (to no avail).

So please help me! I would appreciate a decent answer. Thanks in advance.

Ok on my really bad comp (worse than yours) I was able to do a few things to get better graphic capabilities. First change your color from 32 bit to 16 bit, and then make the quality in maples background low quality. This is a temporary solution and with BB coming up you may need a new comp which you will need eventually because you computer pretty low end. Also use this guide to increase your computer speed.
512 RAM? you might d/c on boss runs, but if you change that 512 RAM to 1 Gig, you should be fine. RAM isn't expensive, at max if you just buy a stick of 1 GIG ram it should be 20-40 bucks, nothing big.
Well assuming that his Mo-Bo has 2 slots for Ram, he doesn't even need to get a gig of ram... he can just get another 512mb stick.... unless its two 256 mb sticks already installed...

So the best idea is to get a new computer? I'm really leaning towards that. Thanks for the help!

Many computers usually get slower as time goes by. I suggest that you reformat your computer to default if you know how

Chip Type: Intel (R) 82865G Graphics controller
