What I usually do is get a C rank monster from the store and combine it with an A rank or above monster. Most of the time it'll come out the type of higher rank, sometimes the lower, and rarely a completely random type.

I always keep my lvl 1 C Rank Igloo Turtle with me and a list of Monster Specific Farms just for combining Works most of the time.

It's a random chance to get a different type of monster. It's not a even distribution- the parents are far higher weighted (and I'd guess rank weights that even more). But enough combinings will get you your target monster type eventually.

Its even more difficult when you want to get golems (very few farms have it nowadays) and all you have are lvl 9, A Rank cats >.>

PS iirc, there is a higher chance of the resulting monster being one of the two parents. this is also affected by level and rank of the monster.

so lvl 9 A rank + lvl 1 C rank -> very likely to be cat

is it the play with 5 of them? if so just go to other farms..
