Also remember me as I am now, for in a few months a new me will be born and I shall never be the same.

Yea, I met many nice old and new buccs. It's just that some of them think they can make up some standards for people must have in order to make this job. "Oh you want to make a bucc, well you have not care about damage, hate all u.a players, hate the revamp, etc". Can't we make the job in anyway we want? Like just a few months ago there was a thread about someone wanting to try out bucc before the revamp. The first two or three posters who were bucc started insulting him and calling him a disgrace bandwagoner. I get some of you guys want to stay "unique", but to the point that they are shutting down new players away by being mean to them makes me sad.
Now about the revamp. At first, I really really hated it. I was sad when Transformation, energy drain, mp recovery, oak barrel, barrage got deleted. Then I started thinking about how each skill works, and then I started to accept it. They did fix some the things I wanted (energy charge's touch, charging problem, more pdr skills). Overall I give the revamp a 7/10.

Its not all Buccs, just the actuall player whose an idiot. Not all buccs are bad. But its people like them are the ones that gave us the bad reputation we have now.
I'm a old gen bucc as well but to be honest I kinda liked our near extinct class, it made it seem all that more special to me.
But if people want to make buccs go ahead just don't make it seem like all of us are bad.

I'm an old Pre-Big Bang Buccaneer as well, and yeah. We're not [i]all[/i] bad, it's just a stereotype on us. Just like the stereotype of how all UA Buccaneers are rude individual's who have "disgraced their class". You just get used to the silly comments. So don't worry or take it personally c:
Bucc's may be a bit uncommon, but man. We sure do carry a "bad reputation" no matter when we were created, if we were Pre or Post Big Bang, or an UA or not.
My personal opinion, a Buccaneer's a Buccaneer. I may be an old gen one, but I don't mind if new players hop on our class.
Granted, yeah, I enjoy being a bit uncommon, but hey, if somebody enjoys my class as much as I have, then go for it. I don't care if your reason was for damage or for fun. As long as you're respectful, then I'm all for it.

I know you're not mean. I also have bucc who is still and forever be my main since the day pirates came out. I just dislike our community. I have to not care about damage in order to make this job? I'm not overly obsessed with damage, but to the point that I shouldn't even try to attempt to bring my damage up to not slow down my party?
Oh, and this one is more silly. I think back in 2007?

I'm not even mad I'm just sad because we were so original. But I guess it has to happen. And honestly, Buccs are one of the nicest communities in maple
