joe! I guess you don't want my 100 atk pronaka I hear zedbugs are pretty beast. Also armor is pretty much useless, it's better to attack the enemies while they are busy whacking to your naked body. You also need to do something about that goofy-ass hat, I recommend an independence day hat because, you know, amurrica.

Just wait for SP resets from events, they give those out for free every now and then.
Just get that grueling level up to 149 and start putting points into Dark Impale.
Make that your priority in SP.

Except currently, when you're on your own, endgame PAs are better than spears due to the speed difference.
If we manage to get +1 attack speed from Aswan, the lv 140 spear would also reach the speed cap with decent Speed Infusion, beating the lv 140 PA.

@zgtaf: it's an event at night, not sure of the times since i've had no computer to play :X just check the latest notes and you should find it there i believe, it's 80 something coins for a special maple polearm, and each run is 15 coins for a total of 45 a day

@zgtaf: Use the Dimensional Door, click on Ardentmill, and your there. All jobs make money, though alchemy+herbalism and smithing+mining make the most. Alchemy requires you fuse items, smithing requires you make equipment. People often craft timeless/reverse weapons and that's great profit if you can find a recipe and ingredients.

You can add Cookie4Basil. I'm not on MS too much, but when I do come on, I'll probably be coming on to Bera more often, since I need resets for all my Windian characters.

@zgtaf: Lmao I need to get better at explaining things. A possible potential is a %stat. Alchemy is a sort of "job" xD. You learn it along with Herbalism and you combine equipment in order to get a potential. This is one of the easiest ways to make money, though it is very time consuming and takes several million to get started. And yeah, waiting for another AP reset is the best move, though Nexon only gave two AP resets in the past 3 years (I had 70 Dex, lowered to 55, than finally lowered to 4) xDD.

I appreciate ur helping very much, but let me put it this way. If i could have a spear that's got 200 atk, and a polearm with 100 atk.. guess which one I'd pick I'm not for efficiency, and never have been

on a different note: I can't really play maple lol. Everytime I log on, a few minutes pass, then a process called BlackCipher completely screws my cpu usage, and brings it to 100%, so that I get a massive lag that persists until I close maple lol.

Buy a fair frozen for the time being. I know it's a spear, but spears are usually 2 speed stages faster than polearms, except for the really expensive pole arms.

Okay, but what would you recommend getting right off the bat? Those weapons are all relatively expensive, and I won't have any other way of making money than hunting monsters for meso drops lol.. How difficult is the dragon rider pq? I don't really have any connections, so I think it may be hard to find someone willing to pq with me?
Bummer... so there's like no major adventurer tweaking patch coming out soon? well, I'm just gonna have to wait and see I guess...

My dex is 34, but I read in the guides, that dex is absolutely useless now, so I might as well wait for one of the ap resets and lower it to 4, right?

First off, your going to need money. I recommend hunting for recipes or going to Ardentmill and learn alchemy. With alchemy, you can fuse two of the same items together and get a %stat. A %stat gets the % of your total stat and adds it up, i.e if you have 100 str and an item of 2% str, you will have +2 str. After making some money, let's say you have 100m, buy a purple surfboard. It is highly recommended to those who lack funds. Then buy a 3% str top, 3% str bottom, 6% str earring, 4% str belt, and go cwkpq for a MoN. All of the equips listed cost ~20m. Then comes mastery books, so look at all of the guides to get an idea.

Secondly, your stuck xD. The only thing you can do is level up, max what is need, and wait for a sp reset. I'm also assuming your dex is 60+? An ap reset will be supplied during these events called Hot Time, where you wait in a town until a certain time and you get an item. Check the MS website if you're interested.

To start, polearms are definitely the way to go for damage, however that would be severely limiting your options. Most regular spears had their weapon speed bumped up to Normal (6), making them viable as a temporary weapon 1st. Perhaps you might get one 1st to begin with? Otherwise you could try for a Maclear.

ask chickenpoodl, he might have your old PSB, he posted about it being on a shop ages ago asking if you had been hacked, dunno if he bought it though

luckily for you, all the good endgame weapons are polearms, pick whichever you can, in order of good to better: crimson arcglaive, PSB, agares polearm, lionheart partisan.
could also ask people to do dragon rider PQ and hope for a machlear in there.
