Idk why, I asked this (to nobody in particular) and also, this is an old video lol. Also, the method you use is what I originally had in mind but I scrapped it after about 100 failed tries on film because I just kept getting a lag spike right at those platforms on both servers I'm on >.<

I don't have any editing programs, so use a dam stopwatch if you think I lie lol. Compare it to ForLeaf's video and I hit the last star while it's further above my head and I'm further forwards on the platform. He hits it right when he got on the platform, while the star was right beside him.

Mercedes has 165% speed. The animation shows but doesn't have an effect.
