Evan - Where To Train Well since the BB has come, obviously we need a new guide for training locations. There is the "overall" guide for post-BB, but I think that Evans may need their own one. So, if anyone has any ideas about where Evans train, just list them and I'll update the starting post. I'll also add that not all of these locations are of my experiences. This thread is a "hive mind", so to speak. It is collective knowledge from numerous Evans and thus I am not to blame if certain locations do not work out well for you. Sorry if some places overlap others, its just the way the exp/hp ratio and training system works Alright, here we go. 1 ~ 10: Evan Quests 13 ~ 20: Blue Ribbon Pigs, Blue mushrooms 20 ~ 30: R
Evans Slow Usage Hey there. :) A week or so ago, I made a thread asking when an Evan's DragonThrust would be used through training. Now I'm curious, when will Slow really be used? Unlike a normal mage's slow, it doesnt have a 100% chance to slow, and the skill itself is a "buff", which is activated based on a certain percentage when you attack a monster. I find that it'd be useful at places like Red and Blue Kents, since they have a high movement speed, but I don't see it being all that useful at places like Skeles, ToT or Gallops. Any Evans experienced with Slow, I'd like your opinions and experiences. :)
Single Target Skills For anyone who knows Evan skills, you'll know that they have a lot of single-target skills. In order of obtaining them - Lightning > Magic Flare > Killer Wings > Phantom Imprint > Illusion. My question is, once you've maxed illusion, which skill do you use? Killer wings is weaker, yet faster and phantom imprint is in the "middle", though its slow as heck. Any experienced Evans, just explain when you use the 3 skills: KW, PI and Illusion, because I'm so confused on when you use each. :S
9th mastery build Hi there. Does anyone know the "new" 9th mastery build? Since Magic mastery got changed, we cant just move on after getting it to 26 (now its like 29, 30 if you want 1 more m.att). Then you have to factor in FW so you can train, MW for stats and whatnot. Any ideas, I'm lost.
Evans at Galloperas Hi there. :) Simple question --> How would a level 85 Evan train at Galloperas? I have maxed elemental amplification and like 1-2 Fire Breath if that helps. Thanks. :)
Hey There Evans I'll keep this short and sweet. Quit my scraggy Evan and I'm going to continue my old I/L mage from 2007, as well as making a MM. So yeah. There are a huge number of reasons I quit this particular job and community, but I cant be bothered wasting my time listing them, it'd be a waste of a sort. I enjoyed my Evan whilst it lasted and I wish some of you (okay pretty much Taichikara only) good luck in whatever you do with your Evans and maybe I'll see some of you in the I/L or MM sections some day. Adios.
We aren't what you think Hi there, I'm just an Evan who wants to stand up for his class. Pre-Big Bang, nobody really made Evans. They were considered too slow and had low DPM in comparison to most other classes. After the initial hype of the class, the numbers drastically dropped. They continually dropped until the whole Evan population was rather small. Now that the Big Bang has hit, there has been a large increase in Evans. Now due to a key skill; Earthquake, they're being seen as a KSing class because they can easily "control" a single training map; Galloperas. Now all we're seeing nowadays is Basilers screaming about how Evans are pathetic little Ks'ers and that they should nerf Earthquake. This is the thing, its not our fault
6th Growth Evans Hi there Evans. This thread will mainly target those in 6th growth (and potentially 7th, since I don't know if people use fire breath anymore). Quick question -> How fun do you find training now that dragon thrust is mega useful? And whilst we're there, how do you like the blink + thrust concept? I quit my Evan a while a go, but when watching a level 6X Evan training with thrust and blink, I actually got a little thrill out of it. So I hopped on my Evan, tried it and it was actually heaps of fun. If it weren't for the fact I'm too lazy, I'd probably make another Evan just to get to 6th growth and use dragon thrust.
Dragon thrust uses Hey there. Just curious, do any evans actually use dragon thrust past level 80 or so? I can see it being useful at red and possibly blue kents, but past that, I dont really see it as useful. For example, in 9th mastery, casting 2 flamewheels is more efficient than forming a mob with DT (thus aggroing the monsters) and THEN FW'ing. It'll burn pots for no reaoson. Share your opinions and experiences.
Your precious reverse sets Hey there Evans. For those of you, how much do you like your reverse sets? How much time did you spend collecting the "ingredients", makering them? Maybe blowing things up, cubing, remaking better versions? Well say hello to a 140 set of items.;prefixid=KMST (obvious link change is obvious). Now it really depends on what you want. Are you really willing to wish your secondary stat (luk) to 170 for a brand new set of equipment? Do you want a 45w.att/m.att bonus with the complete set? Are you ready to experience scrolling like youve never done before? Well, are you? Personally I find this set quite useless. The stat requirement for the seconday stat is incredibly high, its insane. The potential system w
How is Chaos? Hey guys. Simply, how is chaos "treating" you? I'm trying to adjust to the speed (still find DT wayyyy too powerful at times) and overall the updates are actually quite awesome. Loving PI and Illusion, EQs range isnt THAT badly decreased (at least, not so much that we get crushed training) and Blink is just fun. How are you guys enjoying the first day?
Reorganisation Part 2 - Blink's MP Consumptions has been decreased from 100 to 30 MP. - Dragon Sparking's Master Level has been decreased from 20 to 10 - Fire Breath: 460% > 500% - Killer Wings: Max Level 20 > Max Level 10 - Dragon Fury: 20% Increased Mag Att when MP is between 70% and 100 > 20% Increased Mag Att when MP is between 50% and 100 - Earthquake: 610% > 550%, Range 300% > 220%, Delay 1440 ms > 1170 ms - Flame Wheel: 600% > 670% - Illusion: 180% x 4 times (720%) > 175% x 4 times (700%), Delay 1440 ms > 810 ms - Blaze: 215% x 3 times (645%) > 260% x 3 times (780%), New variable "Range" (300) - Dark Fog: 1800% > 1950% Your opinions? I'm still annoyed at the whole "fast + weak" con
