teacher troll So I have a bunch of tests this week, so I decided I would get one out of the way by writing my online test as soon as it opens on Nov 3. I studied over the weekend, and today after I got home from school. When I finished studying I went online to write it, and I realized she hasnt even posted the test link. Honestly, you dont understand how annoyed I am. I tried emailing her and messaging her, but shes probably busy not giving a crap. Even though this seems like a small thing, I except some professionalism from teachers. Tomorrow I was planning to spend my time studying for another test, but I guess I am going to put at least 2 hours in reviewing my notes and writing the actual test that I shouldve already have completed. I d

Netflix vs. Popcorn Time I havent had cable tv in a long time, so Ive been using netflix for awhile now. I recently discovered another movie streaming company called popcorn time, and I gotta say, I use it way more than netflix now. What do you guys prefer? Netflix pros: Reliable source for movies and shows Good quality Subtitle option Netflix originals Saves where you left off Cons: Older movies Missing episodes Monthly payment Popcorn Time pros: Newer movies Free Complete episodes Cons: Sometimes bad quality (only if movie is still in theater.) Sometimes videos wont play, or unavailable torrent Often subtitles unavailable illegal movie streaming/download You have to wait until movie downloads before fast forwarding. If I know netflix has

part time jobs and the struggle So I recently got a part time job at a restaurant kitchen as a dishwasher. The job itself is repetitive, fast paced, and very wet/dirty. My only problem right now is the shifts they're giving me is ridiculous for my first time on the job. I have to work on the busiest days ONLY ( friday and saturday ) and I have to close. Closing is basically cleaning the dish area at the end. Im suppose to finish at 2am but ALWAYS end up finishing around 3. Usually two people work dishes at a time, but the other guy always leaves around 10 then the dishes just starts piling up. ugH. Maybe im just complaining but I was wondering if other jobs are as hard. Only good thing is the work environment. Everyone is really nice and ca

Learning how to cook in College Before I entered college I didnt even know how to turn on an oven. I decided I wasnt going to be one of those students who eat microwavables everyday. (My room mate literally has 5 boxes of hot pockets in our freezer) Or the type of student to eat out everyday with a meal plan. I try to learn a new dinner recipe every time I go shopping for groceries. So far ive learned -Baked BBQ chicken thighs -Steamed sausage -Baked chicken breast (My fave dish atm) -Alfredo Pasta (Just learned last night. Cooked it with bacon) -Boiled Potatoes (Mashed) -Boiled Carrots -Potato wedges -Steak (Probably wont have this again soon, too expensive) I eat with only $100 a month, which I think is very good since i'm eating well. Study strategies and habits? I was always curious how much my classmates put into studying for the grades they get. For myself I know I have to put in alot of hours in order to prepare for a test. Over my years of highschool I've tried many different strategies to study ranging from: writing out notes to study from, typing out notes, and quietly reading over and over. The most effective way Ive found so far is reading out loud and explaining to myself the concepts and main ideas. This is primarily the way I prepare for tests and exams for the last 2 years (grade 12 & first year college) and it worked quite well for me. Now for the duration of studying. Because, all my life, my tests and exam grades usually made up 90% of my final grade,
