Sudden Strike Awareness Whenever I play, more and more people seem to accuse me of keybinding my skills because I spam Final Toss when mobbing. Even Arans call me a hacker, as if they've never even seen the skill in their skill book! And I know I can't be the [i]only one[/i] being accused of hacking when using a skill we get in the fourth job. It's ridiculous.
Level 150 Aran Mount So I've been looking around and I haven't found anything on how to get the mount anymore. All information seems to be some vague form of "it's free now," and none of the NPCs in Rien really do anything. I can't seem to find Pucci either. I definitely missed the memo on the change for this, so could anyone help me out? What's the dealio with the level 150 mount?
Will there be a better pole arm than the PSB? I'm not looking forward to attacking things with a surfboard. It's silly, but I'm all about aesthetics, and I'm not getting why the best pole arm in the game is a surfboard and not something cool looking. I've heard tale of "new weapons," but as of yet... is the Purple Surfboard still the best pole arm?
Making a good PSB I give in, I realize I'm going to need to use this thing. So I want to make it the best I can. Disconnected for Hack Reason still? I logged on today for the first time in FOREVER (it was sad watching my pet die and getting notified of being guildless...), and I started killing some stuff. Some weak stuff, just for nostalgia's sake. Then disconnected for "Hack Reason." I remember this happening all the time when you'd kill too fast or go through a portal with Body Pressure on. Have they really still not fixed this? Is there any word of them fixing it ever?
Alternatives to LHC? Training at LHC is great and all, but it's really hard for [i]me[/i] to get into a party. There has to be somewhere else, even somewhat comparable, to level at solo. I'd like to play this game without having to rely on the kindness of strangers, since that's really hard to come by anyway. Aran Training 110 I was told that level 110+ were easy, but I don't know where to go for it. I had thought I was supposed to go to Lion King's Castle (why do people call it LHC?) but people seem to laugh when I ask to join parties or look for one. What am I supposed to do? *PvP is out of the question, I still can't get into a game without someone who is hacking.
At what level can an Aran solo Papulatus I'm kinda tired of waiting for someone to sell OS20 in the free market, so I was thinking that I could just fight Papulatus. I'm currently level 130 and I have a ~10k range (I'm not strong, I know), and I've got 17 saved SP that is killing me to not use. Being that potion money is not an issue (he still 1/1s, right?), is it possible to solo him efficiently?
Aran Training at Level 160 I've been away from the class(and the game in general) for quite some time. It's changed. LHC doesn't seem to be the place to go, and I hear people talking about a Stronghold, but it's always recommended for level 165 or higher, so I assume that's the lowest level that can enter that place. Link 3 in the EVO Lab seemed to be pretty decent, but I'm sure there's something other people around my level were doing. I'm not sure if this is necessary information, but my range with self-buffing(no potions, what are those?) is 26931 ~ 41035. I'm sure funding standards are way different nowadays but pretty much everything I'm using is from scrounging events and whatnot.
Third Job Advancement for Aran I'm starting up again and I need to make this Red Jade. So now I need to learn the "Maker Skill," I think. I looked around and there seems to be a [i]lot[/i] of running around involved here... is there some easier way about this? And should I be prepared for more stuff to come? Last time I played I got bored of how long this advancement was and stopped half-way.
The price of Overswing 20 I was told before it was around 100m, but so far the only book I've found in Bera was 200m. Has the price gone up? EDIT: After some hard looking, I found OS20 for 100m, and OS30 for 40m, and passed both. Great success! Now I have a question for the math savvy people out there, what would be better, a 9 attack work glove or 6 attack 3% STR Machine Glove?
Aran and the Balrog PQ I 'm doing the Balrog PQ right now, and I've noticed that my combo only goes up when I use my regular attack. The follow-up moves do not increase my combo. When I was partied with my friend, he claimed to see himself hitting 30ks, while on my screen I saw him only hitting 4ks. Because we have Overswing, and our subsequent attacks have the changed animation, do they not work in the PQ, even though we can see them working on our own screens?
Disconnected Due To Hack Reason Yeah, I know this is old, but does any other Aran have more trouble with this than necessary? Body Pressure and our naturally high damage are huge factors and I find myself disconnecting with this pop-up every time I do the Crusader quests. I don't have this problem at higher level areas, but if there's something I can kill in 1-3 hits I [i]will[/i] get disconnected.
