If you went to the site but didn't enter anything (or entered fake info), then you're OK. It wasn't a "keylogger", it was just trying to get you to enter your login info. If you DID enter your info, CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD IMMEDIATELY or you'll lose your account.

Korea makes hacking/botting/gold selling illegal The Korean government has passed laws prohibiting the use of programs to illegally obtain in-game items and gold from online games, and the selling of these items and gold outside of the game. This only applies to Korea, but it finally gives force of law to anti-hacking efforts. Now it =will= be illegal to sell hacking programs, hack the games and sell items for cash. The law apparently goes into effect in July.
Dont click on 'girlfriend pictures' Now the slimeball who's been trying to keylog Basil users has changed tactics and is posting "My Ex-Girlfriend Pictures" on Basil, trying to get people to click his link and download his keylogger. Don't do it. There's been one here in General Maplestory, and one in Chat. Hopefully nobody has fallen for those. Don't EVER click on anything like this, and especially don't ever download a file from a file-sharing site that someone posts here on Basil. 99% of the time it's a keylogger.
World transfer potentials question I know there was a problem where items that transferred worlds with you would lose their potentials- was this ever fixed, or does it still do this..? I tried searching back through the forums, but most of the questions I could find dealt with stuff like why transfers didn't happen. Just wondering if anyone who's transferred lately has been able to do it with their potentials intact..?

Basil Keylogger Warning Some slimeball has been keylogging Basil users and stealing their accounts then posting a YouTube video with the hacked accounts that's supposedly a [b]"Mapcrash being used in Fm"[/b], but when you go to the link in the video to get the "map crash", the file is actually a keylogger and you end up losing your accounts. If you see anyone posting anything like this, PM a Mod immediately so we can remove it, and DON'T download the file in the video description link. If you DID download this thing, Microsoft Security Essentials (free from Microsoft, Google it) will detect and remove it.

Question about Gems in Maker Skill When you use a Topaz or Emerald to add HP or MP, the levels available are 10, 20 and 30 points. Is that ALL you get for an Advanced Topaz..? 30 HP period..? If that's the case, I guess adding HP or MP to an item is pretty useless.
Lucky Day Scroll question When you use a Lucky Day Scroll on an item, and it has the little "4 leaf clover" icon on the item's picture in your inventory, can you then move the item to another character on your account through Storage and have the Lucky Day effect follow the item..? Or does it lose the "4 leaf clover" icon if you move it via storage..? How about trading it to another account via trade..?
Most inventory slots? Now that Cannoneer has been retired, what class has the most inventory slots..? I've noticed some of the new classes recently start out with more slots, but what's the current slot champion..? And do they gain more slots when they job advance..?

UPDATE from Nexon about the MTS issue Nexon has taken the MTS offline to address the current security issue. Their announcement is on the front page of the Maple site and reads as follows: -------------------------------------------------- Attention Maplers! We have temporarily taken the MTS offline to update the system. Players will not be able to access or trade items on the MTS while it is unavailable.
