Laptop or Desktop Well, my desktop is failing me again and my laptop is getting old (What, 5 years old?) and it's very, very, slow ever since I dropped it down a flight of stairs not too long ago. The desktop will be a $671 desktop, custom built. Parts: I think I can skim on a few parts by taking some out of my old one, but not much. Just the case and maybe the fans? The laptop would be a bit more expensive, around $700 I'm guessing, but I can't get it immediately. I'm thinking around next year Black Friday when they polished up Windows 8 a bit. Of course it won't be AS powerful, but I'll see what I can do I guess. The upsides is that this option is portable which is very, very, useful. Something like this I guess,;cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&
