Should I Continue As A Lukless BaM? Hello everybody, So I just created a new Battle Mage and it's currently level 26. I'm thinking whether I should continue as lukless or not. The reason for this is because I'm not sure of I have enough funding in order to buy equips in order to maximize its potential. My damage actually doesn't seem that good (although I'm not sure what the normal damage for a 2x lukless BaM is. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Negativity on Revamped BaM So the general consensus on Basil seems to be that the upcoming revamp for BaMs suck. Am I the only one who might actually prefer it to the way things currently are? I mean just by watching this video, it seems the play style has become much more rapid. It doesn't really seem like that big of a nerf. Importance of Shields to BaMs I want to ask how important a shield is to a BaM? Would using the new secondary weapon instead of shield be largely disadvantageous?
Revamped Battle Mage Soloing Zakum Here's the video of a BaM soloing Zakum in the test server: [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oASfHSXWg7I]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oASfHSXWg7I[/url] It pains me to see that we now have to use some rock fist to hit all the Zakum arms, and can no longer stand at the base and rely on BKB. I think the range of BKB shines particularly in HT where you can hit EVERYTHING at once (so awesome). However, seeing the speed of Prime Blow and Another Blow chained together (surprisingly fast, compared to the other videos we've seen) calms me a bit. What do you all think?
If The Revamp Comes As Is ... What are you going to do? Would you guys continue with your BaMs or switch to another class? If you're switching, which class would you switch to?
